Dave, you are spot on about it being a deliberate attempt to mock others. But it’s inappropriate for it to be presented on a MUSIC WEBSITE (front and center on the main page currently too, which is hugely embarrassing) where a bunch of people come here to share a love and interest in MUSIC, regardless of what anyone else they share the page with believes or disbelieves in...and it is seriously not cool on a music website (or ANY site) to aggressively use your own agenda to belittle other peoples beliefs to get a personal kick out of it.

Unfortunately, the person in question here is a many-time repeat offender of this exact same thing, and will absolutely do it again (when is the next Neal Morse album due out? ). It can be likened to a cartoon character being told `don’t eat those cookies!’, or someone left alone in an empty room with a giant red `DON’T TOUCH!!!!’ button, or...a kid discovering masturbation for the first time and trying to keep his hand off it - sooner or later, he’s just not going to be able to help himself.

Well, where do I start? Neil Morse - says - "I want to preach about my born-again xtian god-delusion, again". "H'm haven't you done that to death already?" says a.n. other - "I'll tell you what - I will base the concept on a well known xtian allegorical tale - Bunyan's The Pilgrims Progress!". "I wouldn't call it that - it won't sell - give it a proggy name". "Good idea" muses Morse, "I'll call it 'The similitude of a dream' - How's that?" "OK"...... Well , I listened to CD1 and the lyrics didn't twist my melon until - "Breath of Angels" - I had to turn it off immediately! I gave it a second chance - and got as far as CD2 - before his preaching got to me again. The musicianship is awesome , the prog music equally the best around at the moment. - Oy! Morse why didn't you include an edition with an instrumental CD for me to enjoy? I'm afraid his narration, is of a man, - sick of earthly delights - realises that real life only happens when you're dead but has no actual proof that this is the case - just his smug - I KNOW!!! YOU FOOLS! attitude. Well he would have got more interest from me - if he has told a tale about a similarly deluded pilgrim, wandering about Manchester with a bomb in his back-pack for 2.5 hours before taking 22 men, women and children with him into oblivion because "HE KNOWS" that he will get 36 virgins in his city in the sky. Neil - give it a rest!

This site is littered with mindless rants disguised as reviews. Why the sudden outrage for a Neal Morse review? So what if he finds the preaching offensive? Nobody seems too upset when Deathspell Omega gets a lazy review

Hi, posted a review in the wrong place - David Gilmour Live In Pompeii DVD. It should be, an is, under the CD album category. Just wondered if this DVD review might be deleted please. It is after all, inappropriate.

^ I just had a look at his reviewer page. He's replaced the text on every review he's ever written (quite a few) with the same screed about the anti-ad blocker.
