Yesterday:
Pawn Hearts - VdGG - definitely one of my most challenging listens ever and while still not convinced Hamill is for me, at least I understand those who love this band a bit more now. Some really vibrant stuff in Man-erg and Plague - just a bit worn out now! Acquiring the Taste - GG. Maybe more consistent and not as demanding to listen to as Pawn Hearts - some very good tracks, although have to say that the peaks on Pawn Hearts were stronger when they appeared. GG have definitely grown on me over the last few months, though. Elsewhere, today... Visions - Haken Incarnate/Essence/Satellite/Skin - Panic Room - following a recent post elsewhere on PA What's Going On: Live at the Isle of Wight - Taste Second Home (again!) - Mystery Stormcock - Roy Harper In Vaults - District 97 Islands - King Crimson Edited by Squonk19 - February 17 2018 at 13:43 |

Cool! I didn't realize there were so many Sibelius fans 'round these here parts. Today I was in more of a rock mood: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Back My Bullets George Thorogood & The Destroyers - George Thorogood & The Destroyers Deep Purple - In Concert (Disc 2) Ted Nugent - Cat Scratch Fever Van Halen - For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge Molly Hatchet - Take No Prisoners (Simultaneously one of the best and worst albums ever recorded - I love it!)

I have been sy-fan since `90. One thing I am really sad I never saw them. They were three times in Finland and all the times there were just things that prevented me to go their gig. I have seen Kim alone, Thurston alone and Lee twice, but it´s not the same thing...btw have you listened Lee´s last, really great Electric Trim-album? I think it was the greatest album of last year!

Like Molly too. First album is my favourite. Saw them once live, Danny Joe was in vox then.
