A huge Bruce Springsteen fan all my life - but feel I need to whisper it here. I thought it was the same with Steely Dan - but thankfully they've been shown a lot of love recently on PA

can't think of a single one I like that is hated. Then again.. I have long been the Godfather of the most prominent PA's hate groups and terrorist cells... so if I like it... they and their fans are generally safe from forum ostracisation.

Prog fans don’t hate Uriah Heep. Is it a joke?
here on PA people complain about them rather than showing fondness. That's why I mentioned them.
really? News to me .. complaining about what. Mick Box was a god man... and anyone with 2 ears and a brain would know that.
*click click* haha
well, I've seen people here say they dislike Byron's vocals, call UH a second hand Deep Purple. So if they bash the classic Heep with David Byron, what would they do if they here Lawton, Sloman or Goalby?

#MeToo Squonk. I hung heavy with Springsteen from debut through 1984.
I don't know how Prog community feels about my favorite non prog band....The Jesus and Mary Chain Scotland's Reid brothers compose well, sing great, and William's guitar tone blows my mind. I don't think anyone manipulates guitar feedback better than William. Every album's different. I got to believe "The Chain" heavily influenced the Prog's Post Rock movement. I could be wrong.
I adore the first wave of shoe gazers like Swervedriver and RIDE.
I'm a big fan of The Shins and Nuetral Milk Hotel.
My favorite underrated band on Progarchives site?
I don't think a review has written about Sun Dial. My favorite Sun Dial album "Return Journey" isn't even listed. In 1992, I discovered Sun Dial and Porcupine Tree within an hour of each other. The two bands will forever be linked in my heart!
Guitarist- Gary Ramone is the leader of Sun Dial. Its my belief that Ramone influenced Steven Wilson early on a little bit. However, I think Wilson influenced Gary Ramone on Sun Dial's album "Zen for Sale". Ramone is extremely shy and I believe that worked against Sun Dial's popularity. After all the pleasure Sun Dial bequeathed me, I owe Sun Dial a review or two. At least a emoticon... Believe it or not, Sun Dial is legendary in certain psychedelic Rock circles. Small circles....
