Yes, the cheapest for sale in Discogs is 200 euros at the moment. Have you got any idea, was it for sale for example through Bowie sites when album was just coming? I noticed it quite many months after it´s release and it was even more expensive then than today.

If I won in a lotto someday, that vinyl version would be my choise then.

How is that Faust album Mårtte? I don't know it.

Live that Caravan album. Gets far too little attention round these parts.
I really loved it! It´s really experimental, well I think Faust hasn´t made any conventional albums, but anyway in the Faust-meter it´s one of their most experimental albums. It´s on the same line as their studio albums of that time. But I loved this more than Ravvivando. Really loved that Caravan too, although their later lives are also great, I think their playing was just greater in the seventies.

I never heard of this, how is it?

Put it this way, Sam....you're gonna wanna get it! It is WONDERFUL, beginning to end, and surprisingly quite heavy and dark in many places. It also sounds nothing like Schulze or Tangerine Dream. If you find the reissue out your way, GRAB IT without hesitation.

I just discovered that there's a shop called Round and Round Records about fifteen minutes from my work, and it is WALL TO WALL Krautrock/Italian/German Prog etc...95% of it is reissues, but very affordable (pretty much the exact same price it would be to get an LP shipping from overseas). Honestly, if I had disposable money, I would go CRAZY snapping up so much of what was in the store...and needless to say, I'm heading back there either tomorrow or on Sunday

Todays choices for me:

Laser – Vita sui Pianeta (not a favourite RPI album of mine, too much schreechy singing)
Exploit - Crisi
Atri e Mestieri – Tilt
Le Orme – Storia o Leggenda
Osanna – L’Uomo
E.A. Poe – Generazioni

Haizea – s/t (a charming late Seventies folk album from a group from Basque, only very slightly `proggy’ though)

Vytas Brenner/Ofrenda - Jayeche – a cool electronic/fusion blend from ’76.

Also some gentler Italian pop/rock albums I’ve picked up on LP over the years too:

I Camaleonti – Vita D’Uomo (In Cerca della Verita)
Gruppo Euangelion – Ora e Appena L’Alba

well i asssume it was for pre-sale or regular sell by his web-site at the time, but remember; discogs is the best marketplace for old first pressing, but in case of new vinyl is full of jokers with, sometimes, inflated prices.
For example the new Marillion edition of marbles, for the first time on 3 LPs with the all the tracks of the "deluxe" edition is on discogs for about 50£ at least. the same pressing is still available on Burning shed for about 25/30£. there are many other example of crazy prices, i remember at the time the first noel gallagher high flying birds album had extreme prices, while was still for sale on his official website at regular price.
Last year i found a 1997 EMI anniversary reissue NEAR MINT copy of "misplaced childhood" at the modest price of.... 200$!!!!!!!
perhaps on the David bowie album it could be determined by the fact is not with us anymore, and even regular black vinyl first pressing has an amount of price (mine is a repress, from a different factory from the first because they had to put it out again for the incredible result of the album), but surely on discogs there is a trick by sellers in order to gain and benefit more than the actual price!

Awesome selections! I was fortunate enough to find Tilt used on CD at a local record store but the other two are still on my "to buy" list.

I think it depends on seller. Of course there are overpriced albums, but for example some years ago I got Hendrix Axis:Bold as Love original mono UK-version with insert in 150 euros. Now the cheapest is 240 euros.

Those first colour vinyl pressings are wanted on these days, there are many that are not for sale even in the discogs.
