More sonics...more happiness. ;)
Fields Of the Nephilim-- Sumerland (EP) 1990 Fields of the Nephilim--For Her Light ( EP-1990) Roger Waters-- The Final Cut (haha see what I did there. ;) Metallica-- S&M ( Jesus Christ what a recording. A real freak considering how sometimes the guitars and bass overpowered the entire Kamen conducted Symphony orchestra. Mind blowing. ) Metallica-- Master Of Puppets ( anyone bought the 3 disc re-issue/remaster yet? Heard it wasn't that bad. The discs aren't bricked walled, so that has me intrigued. I might buy it. Has some pretty cool extras. ) Seconds before landing-- now that I have your attention. ( if you love Roger Waters you'll dig this one a lot. ) Tangerine Dream-- Rubycon Tangerine Dream --Richochet Ministry-- Singles Box (disc 2&3) |

Hello all. I just wanted to wish everyone a nice start to the Christmas holidays and to tell you all a little about my day. I was able to procure an awesome 1996-SHM Japanese pressing of The Who's Quadrophenia and I am over the moon (Keith Moon that is) for how bloody great this album is. I can't believe it took me this long to grab this album. I am a proggy disgrace. Lol. Anyhow, here is my day of listening and it was a good one for me. :)
Queensryche-- Empire ( this is such a great album from the Ryche. Great recording as well provided one has an original pressing of this guy. The remasters are a joke. Stay away! ;) The Who-- Quadrophenia ( this is the album of the day for me. Hard to pick a favourite track but Doctor Jimmy is pretty damn amazing. Good lord. :) Alice Cooper-- Billion Dollar Babies ( hey! Pretty good. I never new only women bleed. Lol. ) Pink Floyd-- AMLOR ( love that John Haliwell sax. Such a great album. ) The Cure-- Pornography ( those punchy drums are addictive.) Queen-- Live Magic (1986) ( this is a great live recording. I really recommend it. Huge quality. Freddy sings in your living room for free. ;) Alice Cooper-- Killer Ministry-- 12"inch Singles Depeche mode-- Ultra ( Perhaps Dave Gahan best vocal performance.) Vangelis -- 1492 ( I love it. The opener is the best. So epic. ) |

Man. It is still a f**king nightmare trying to post on here!!
Sheesh. I can only do one pits a day or I lose my sh*t with this security bullsh*t. Why haven't they fixed this yet? It has been almost a year! :( Anyway. My albums of today and Michael I included more of Haliwell for you and he isn't the mullet man. Lol. supertramp-- Crime of the century ( saxamahphone...saxama"phone lol) Roger Waters-- Pros and cons of hitch hiking ( this album is wicked. ) The cure-- disintegration (so brilliant. Droning and mesmerizing guitar. ) Depeche mode-- Spirit (still loving it. ) Alice Cooper-- Killer ( had to have another round with this one and thank you Mortte for your suggestions. I will definitely buy Welcome to my Nightmare. Also, there is definitely prog found in Coopers work. ;) Lunatic Soul-- ST Savatage-- Gutter Ballet & Ghost in the ruins: a tribute to Criss Oliva The Doors-- The Singles (2017) Phil Collins-- Face Value The Who-- Quadrophenia ( Aweeeee! This is my favourite right now. So good!) Unreal City-- Frammenti Notturni (album of the year! By far now for me. ;) |

How is that one? I've been formulating a Christmas list in between study breaks, and my last choice is narrowed down between Bowery Electric and the second Death Ambient album. Probably won't listen to any music today, I need to get 78% on a final tomorrow. Quite the tall order...
