A New World Record, but it's very close for me.
What you'll say?

Crime of the Century, and it's not even close.

Supertramp. I'm not a massive ELO fan after Eldorado.

pffff...figures... Micky from Mars.. the rest of you.. no clue where you all are from.
not even remotely close....
the brilliant opening track slays anything on that Supertramp album... only the best of what Supertramp did. And it wasn't this overrated album. Breakfast in America.. can touch the brilliance of Jeff Lynne and the boys did here. |

Both great, but I don't think ELO ever recorded anything as good as COTC.
COTC is a masterpiece from start to finish, and I'm ashamed to say that for many years, I just didn't see it, but then at one point I thought Marillion were one of the best prog rock bands ever, so go figure! |

COTC by light years.
NWR isn't even an ELO top 5 album with me.

COTC is one of those albums where every track is superb, and I never tire of listening to the whole thing end to end.

Supertramp on this one. I liked ELO until "El Dorado", after that, I lost interest.

I prefer the Supertramp album.
Btw, Triumvirat toured with both bands in the same year (1975) in North America. Those were the days! |

Oh, stop it already with these ludicrous comparisons.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |
