Metamorfosi – Inferno – (piano/keyboard orgy pretty much still perfectly describes this one! )
Prelude – Voyager (very early Neo-styled album from late 70’s, so glad to finally own it)
Nektar – Recycled
Andreas Vollenweider – Caverna Magica
Saddar Bazaar – The Conference of the Birds
Pink Floyd – Live in Santa Monica, May 1970
Jane – Between Heaven and Hell

Phew! And I'm back in Poland now. Time just flies.
Yesterday on the plane:
Kraftwerk - Kraftwerk II
Weather Report - Weather Report
Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - Roxy and Elsewhere

Categories strain, crack and sometimes break, under their burden - step out of the space provided.

Cosmic Ground - III
Rio Grande - s/t
Camel - I Can See Your House From Here
Ashra - Correlations (Certainly not one of their best, but the world deserved to hear Göttsching's take on Disco.)

Yeah I really dig the disco quotient to that album

Btw nice write-up of the Saddar Bazaar album Michael (you even received an encouraging facebook comment from a woman ). I only know the jazz album Conference of the Birds by Dave Holland so was rather surprised to learn of this raga offering.

Yesterday:
MGMT - Congratulations
Prins Thomas - Principe del Norte
Tinariwen - Elwan
Adrian Younge & Venice Dawn - Something About April
Dutch Uncles - Big Balloon
Sun Araw - On Patrol
Plaid - Double Figure
Gösta Berlings Saga - Sersophane
Pond - The Weather

Ha, my mate and I were looking at which of the several vinyl I have signed that I could display in LP sized frame around the house, and we saw my autographed `Correlations' cover and both went `Urgh, no!'

Ha, I listened to `I Can See...' the other night, one of the rare `Michael's Edit' versions I have on my Ipod, which makes me still maintain - get rid of `Neon Magic' and `Remote Romance' and it's quite a decent little poppy-prog album!

^ It's hard to believe Hipgnosis was behind that cover Tongue

I have it on vinyl so "Michael's Edit" is not possible. I heard it on background so it wasn't so bad. I think both tracks are better than "Rainbow's End" though Dead

Yeah baby - you decided to go for the avant disco experience.
Trust me it grows on you however weird it seems on first spin.

So sorry dear chap but I did warn you with the avant moniker although it has next to nothing in common with what I'd normally call avantguarde, but man is it ever weird with that omnipresent ebb and flow effect - like being trapped in the middle bit of the Atom Heart Mother Suite...but slightly more disco flavouredCool

What you need now is a pair of shoes to rival the music.

Hey Vinicius - thanks for reminding me of the new acoustic Korekyojinn album Been meaning to check that out.

Yesterday:
Sun Araw - The Saddle Of The Increate (or part of it - couldn't finish )
Zacht Automaat - Bags Inside Bags (NOT what I was expecting and I genuinely enjoyed it)
Procession - Frontiera (RPI with balls and no synths (a little mellotron though))
Varg - Nordic Flora Series 3 (very nice contemporary techno outta Sweden)
Djam Karet - Sonic Celluloid
Kendrick Lamar - Damn (not sure I like this as much as Untitled Unmastered but it's a good listen nonetheless. Think it'll grow on me)
Fishmans - Long Season (do you know this one Samuel? I think you'd dig this Japanese release considering your recent interest in dream-pop. Such a beautiful album.)
Tangerine Dream - Ricochet (felt like coming home )

What?!?!?! I love those water effects. In fact I love water sounds in just about any sound constellation you care to throw at me ....but Krautrock with a bit of wasser inside? Now we're talking!

Remember to check out Procession's second album Fiaba. I think it'd suit your tastes a tad better. It is more refined and incorporate keys and synths into the mix.

Me yesterday:
Pharoah Sanders - Karma
Pond - The Weather
Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
Parliament - Osmium
Aksak Maboul - Onze Danses Pour Combattre La Migraine
The Future Sound Of London - Lifeforms
Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
Heldon - Stand By
