`Trans Europe Express'....that's considered a masterpiece WHY??? I mean, it's perfect alright...although I still maintain that the band build up these potentially cool electronic pieces and then sh*t all over them with those dreary repetitive vocals. I don't know...I'm on about my tenth listen at this point, and I can listen to it in the background and kind of enjoy it, but for something with its status, it seems so...lightweight to me? I'll have to give it more spins before I buy Gazeuse then. This is still the only Gong album I have in my collection Embarrassed

At least on PA, none of their albums reaches 4 stars Tongue I try not to be affected by the common opinion, although once in a record store, I heard a father tell his daughter "that's Kraftwerk, the creators of Electronic music" Dead That's bad parenting, if you ask me LOL

What do you think of this one? I gave it a few spins already and I find difficult to stay focused until the end, it sounds quite samey.

Any improvement since last week? Tongue

I could also give two tosses that it namedrops David Bowie and Iggy Pop in the lyrics either, no matter how much it might make the trendies cream themselves.

Hmmm, this post took a rather uncomfortable sexual direction in a few spots , sorry folks!

^  I have not heard the new SBE song yet, is it on Bandcamp or YouTube or somewhere else?
I read on their site that a new album (five songs) is coming out in May. That should be interesting.
