^ Not much more to say after one listen, especially when I don't listen to Metal much. I thought I wouldn't be able to listen to all of it (it's 67 minutes long), but it fortunately gets softer after a few tracks.

You're going to want to get on to a listen of that `Cold Nose' album, Sam, it's from the main memeber of Sensations Fix, and it's pretty much an electronic/guitar ambient masterpiece, totally essential. All instrumental, not too far removed from the mellower Manuel Gottsching stuff. I haven't listened to it in a while (I used to completely overdose on it), but will do so again now! Parts of it even ended up on that Sensations Fix remix/compilation from a few years back.

Thankfully it was one of the albums I DID put back on my Ipod after it crashed those few months ago, so am listening to it now at work!

I've got a lovely vinyl reissue of that one, I don't think it's too hard to track down.

I can certainly vouch for Cold Nose (Naso Freddo) by Franco Falsini.
I've had it since the seventies when I got heavily into Sensations' Fix.
If I remember correctly it is a film soundtrack.

Tohpati Bertiga - Riot

Uh uh uh, that would be their second and a HALF album, after the `Epsilon' EP in 2012! , which is really a decent little album. There was big demand for that when it came out, copies of it got pretty scarce. No idea if they're still in demand now.

I was just thinking about that `Riot' album the other day, but I forgot to go and take ir off the shelf! We're soon getting to Summer over here, so that's when that album will make the most sense!

Hi Samuel
You can get in touch with them using their web site http://www.bastapuntoesclamativo.it/ and dropping them an e-mail and you can listen to some of their songs on their soudcloud https://soundcloud.com/bastapuntoesclamativo or on their youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/bastaneoprog

I got Oggetto di studio, their first cd, in 2014 and I received Elemento Antropico a week ago and really like both.

Thanks, Paoli, I actually did get it when it came out! I just remember there weren't many copies going around, so I felt pretty lucky getting one! There was a sudden buzz about the band, and several online vendors didn't have enough to supply demand for a while!

Oh right, I keep forgetting about it. Maybe a should get it while I wait for the new one Tongue

I still think it's a bit long, I don't remember the last songs nearly as much as the first ones. I'll have to learn more songs from them, they are quite fun to play on guitar Thumbs Up

Thanks! I'm listening to their first one on Youtube and they sure have a very interesting sound Thumbs Up I guess I'm just used to how easy Bandcamp works, writing an e-mail seems too much of a task LOL

It is indeed a film soundtrack but I seem to remember that the film didn't make it. This album is basically the only thing that survived...and boy am I glad that it did. Such an enigmatic little album - PERFECT for looking out windows on a cold morning.
