Honestly, how many people like Faust's debut? It's my fourth favourite Prog album of all time and I never see it get nearly enough praise it deserves. I only see IV being mentioned when the first three are so much better to me.

I just finished listening to that Faust album for the first time, it's really great Thumbs Up I voted for them, but I could vote for any of these.

I guess it was because when Faust signed to Virgin, they became more widely known.  Virgin famously re-issued 'The Faust Tapes' for the price of a single but not the first two albums.  A Faust 'V' is supposed to exist in the vaults somewhere... By then, the band had lost it, wrecked a hotel (that their parents had to pay for) then disappeared for more than a decade...

I totally agree with you. The debut is quite radical. I don't quite get the gist of the fourth album. Not that adventurous this one is IMO.
