Honestly, not a fan of any of those, but I'm voting for Faust IV, mainly for "Lauft ...".

Honestly, how many people like Faust's debut? It's my fourth favourite Prog album of all time and I never see it get nearly enough praise it deserves. I only see IV being mentioned when the first three are so much better to me.

I just finished listening to that Faust album for the first time, it's really great Thumbs Up I voted for them, but I could vote for any of these.

Tough choice, but I can't vote against Can.

I guess it was because when Faust signed to Virgin, they became more widely known.  Virgin famously re-issued 'The Faust Tapes' for the price of a single but not the first two albums.  A Faust 'V' is supposed to exist in the vaults somewhere... By then, the band had lost it, wrecked a hotel (that their parents had to pay for) then disappeared for more than a decade...

I totally agree with you. The debut is quite radical. I don't quite get the gist of the fourth album. Not that adventurous this one is IMO.
