^ Guldbamsen is correct. Stalin was as evil as Hitler. The fact that the Soviet Union helped defeat the Nazis does not change that.  Evil that helps defeat other evil does not remove the blood from its hands by doing so.

Do you ever feel ashamed, Guldb?

That is perhaps one of the most disgusting things you've ever posted, and I resent you for it.
Members of my family (on my father's side) were in concentration camps during WWll, so you are very close to home here.

Either way, your "argumentation" is deeply flawed - especially when you count in the fact that Stalin deported 3 million of his own people to the gulag in Siberia.

I was going to add how deeply offensive the posting of that photograph was. Guldbamsen is once again correct.

I can see that you are fan of the mainstream media.
think that "we" are in one of the phases of media tendention that Adolf Hitler to be rehabilitated.
This phase now is to equal Stalin with Hitler with the stories as e.g. "both are evil, "there is not less evil because evil is evil", and so on, and also that in the states with installed puppet regimes (as for example in Serbia) that goverments have to rehabilitate all those fascists from WW2 in East Europe and their leaders. In Serbia, chetniks leader, first-class nazi collaborator and war criminal Dragoljub Mihailović, who had have a normal and open to public the curt trial in 1946, with two advocates who were chosen by himself, is rehabilitated this year (actually they said that the "procedure" wasn't good enough back then, because they can not deny those terrible war crimes did by his maniacs). And now he is a "good guy" and the kids in school will learn about him as a "good guy" who was fight for Serbia against the communists. With nazis, but "so what" - if the Tito's communists were "the worst evil".
Next phase will be, methinks, that Stalin to be presented as "bigger evil" than Hitler.
And the goal is "rehabilitation" of Hitler. I mean, in media. But, many of uneducated (or "educated") people will believe in that sh*t.

I'm very sorry, but Gavrilo Princip is our Yugoslav hero.

Oh, for Christ's sake.  Hitler and Stalin were both evil madmen. Saying that does not "rehabilitate" either. They were both responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of people - their own and those of countries they attacked.

Evil is evil, and what you say is pernicious nonsense.  You are certainly old enough to know better and should cease making such foolish arguments immediately.

It's hard to ask a moron to cease making foolish arguments.

I don't want to rehabilitate Hitler, I always thought he was the most sadistic genocide.

But in terms of cold numbers, Stalin was much worse that Hitler

- In the Homolodor alone, he killed more people than Hitler
- He killed and/or relocated in the Kulaks as many jews as Hitler
- The Gulags were a torture "per se" and the number of innocent sent to the Gulags is countless

BTW: I'm dating and probably will mary a Jew woman, so I don't have any interest in saving Hitler.

I certainly agree all wars, without exception, are idiotic, but I haven't seen anybody trying to glorify WWI.  On the contrary, it is one war that appears to be safe from that particular brand of stupidity.

Context. That line was from a post I copied from another thread. (link provide in my post). It was made in response to Svetonio's post in that thread, not this one. However, I find his comments and posts in this one just as objectionable.

Stalin and Mao had both seen what happens to peaceful communists - the capitalist and quasi-feudal societies around them destroy them. The US in the same period murdered its own citizens, blacklisted moderate artists, started wars and coups abroad in a paranoiac attempt to stem the 'domino effect'. Admittedly it never quite reached the same snowball of madness that Stalin did but then Stalin had profited much less from WW2 than the US did.

Anti any indoctrinated ideology, and certainly anti-war, anti-gun and anti-killing I am someone who believes that force never solved anything however justified the perpetrators believe themselves to be.

Stalin and Hitler can not be in the same line. Do you have been in school? Perhaps you don't know who was Hitler and / or who defeated Hitler. Actually, Stalin defeated Hitler.

My point was that you love mass murderers for some reason.

Any good Stalin has ever done was overridden by the millions of slavs he starved to death.  The bolchevik revolution and its resulting dictatorships killed far more innocent people than even the nazis did.

If communism was good, there would be such thing as a first-world communist nation (instead of crime-filled sh*tholes)

Don't worry about Communism, at least because it didn't existed yet, just be happy because the Democracy always was "amazing".

Quote This is a U.S. government-produced video of how the U.S. tries to defend the WW II internment of Japanese American citizens. Japanese-American internment was the relocation and internment by the United States government in 1942 of about 110,000 Japanese Americans and Japanese who lived along the Pacific coast of the United States to camps called "Relocation Camps," in the wake of Imperial Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. After the WWII many Japanese went back to their hometowns and to the reality that Americans had taken their land and they could not do anything about it. They had to start over.
