Saint Peter was talking about the descendents of the Celts in modern Anatolia in this part...

As a Celtomaniac I say: GO GALATIANS!

It's all great whether or not one is under some sort of influence.
But I do hear tell that Firesign Theater's "I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus" is truly special after a nice, warm bowl of cream of mushroom soup.

It depends on how to define "best". Assuming you're into that kind of... recreation, it would probably be best to listen to music you actually enjoy. If you high as a kite listening to something you don't like, you're likely just listening to the music out of obligation.

Any early FLOYD, Hawkwind, Ozrics......
VDGG - Pawn Hearts
CARAVAN - early albums
NEKTAR - any early-70's release
Gong...........
come to think of it - most Prog..........
Try some Zeuhl, but I found it too oppresive and dark.
