Since Metal "music" is garbage, created by Satanic mass media owners, only listened to by some angry confused teenagers who sold their souls to the Occult;
Since screamy/growly vocals, rapid fire machine gun drumming, wailing / distorted guitar riffs... annoy most of the TRUE progressive fans;
Since it takes too much place in the PA database (Heavy Prog, Progressive Metal, Tech/Progressive Extreme Metal and Post Metal)...
It's time to ask to the PA admins to ERASE Metal from PA and to keep TRUE Progressive Rock Music pure from this filth!

I was listening to Haken on YouTube last month and was stunned by how many commenters considered them metal! I guess it's largely in the eye of the beholder. Devil horns out!

Yes, all Metal should be removed from this site. Metal is evil and it causes teenagers to have sex. More importantly, it is politically incorrect and should be destroyed. All prog lovers on this site should remove any Metal albums/CDs before they contaminate your collection. If you ship them to me, I will see that they are properly dealt with. Honest, I will.

After evaluating so many bedroom t**sers w**king out djent garbage on their computers and calling it prog metal, or sludgy hacks who hide their lack of talent under layers of "atmospheric" lo-fi production and throw in a couple of E minor acoustic strums to add "variation" to their noisy trash, or vanilla 'prog metal' acts who blatantly emulate Dream Theater to a tee as if they are still relevant, or these "avant-garde blackgaze-prog-grind-techdeath-asscore" bands that can't figure out what the hell they want to do....nobody hates metal more than ME.
Let's get rid of it...ALL OF IT...and I shall find peace at last.  |

1 - 'Dream Theater' is not metal they're 'Heavy Prog', at least in the early part of their career
2 - Better to remove the word Progressive from the 'Metal' moniker and just call it what it is, 'Metal'
3 - As I previously stated in other posts, if the genre of 'Metal' goes then so should a number of the other genres
4 - The fact that 'Black Sabbath' is classified as 'Prog Related' should say something, if they are then so are 'Alice Cooper' and 'Edgar Winter' in my opinion. Same difference.
5 - Create a site called 'Metal Archives' and move it all there
