There should be a blanket ban on Prog songs of more than four minutes. Haven't they ever heard the phrase "Less is more"?

Sunn 0))) sped up 500 times sounds terrifying (because you can hear which bands they rip off). Merzbow, Zappa, King Crimson or Sonic Youth slowed down 500 times don't sound weird: you just think it's one of their "experiments". |

Progressive rock started when some musicians tried to cover some Classical standards to fill the last tracks of their LPs. Nothing more. Magma is the sole French band that American can like, because they don't have to ask to the Canadians to translate the lyrics. |
