One of my favourite countries, when it comes to experimental music.

Let's see, how about some Scandinavian Krautrock like behaviour with:
Älgarnas Trädgård
Archimedes Badkar
International Harvester
Kebnekaise
Arbete & Frihet
Fläsket Brinner

Then there are the fusion qualities of Kultivator, Lotus, Kornet, Ablution, Nya Ljudbolaget and Solar Plexus.

New faves include My Brother the Wind, Dungen (!!!!!!!!!), Goat and The Spacious Mind.

Let's not forget the Swedish equivalent of Vannier, Björn J:Sohn Lindh. One of my alltime faves. Från Storstad til Grodspad is a monster of an album!

And of course the wonderful mad hatters from
Samla Mammas Manna (Zamla Mammaz Manna, Von Zamla)

Pugh is a name I've heard of before but never checked out, thanks. I do own Kattvals and while I dig it for a little afternoon coffee delight, it never really blew my socks off. Very nice organs though.

Oh and I almost forgot one of the most bizarre Swedish records in my collection:

Joakim Skogsberg - Jola Rota.

Something like a Swedish take on Kluster recorded in a dark and damp forest.

I like Trettioåriga Kriget, but they've never really put their hands down my trousers, if you know what I mean. Great, heck fantastic music to throw on the stereo, if you're entertaining your old high school buddies and mostly focused on drinking beers and shooting pool.

I may have to revisit Krigssång though. It's been a while (to say the least).

Krigssang is much more relaxed, less heavy than that nuclear debut but for me just as enjoyable. My version includes a track called Murar which is maybe TK's best moment, I'm not sure all versions including the original album has that track and it's really a shame, though I may be confusing it with another track Ermm
