International Proggers, Wanna be on My 2nd Album?

Hi Everyone,

On my group's second album we have two tracks that will feature spoken word sections in different languages. I am posting this to see if any PA members outside of America would like to record two short audio clips to be featured on the album. So far, we have Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese, Japanese, Norwegian, and Lingala. So if you speak another language NATIVELY, and would like to contribute, we would be forever thankful and in your debt. I personally would also be willing to return the favor in the form of guitar, bass, or vocal recording for a short project of yours. Any language will do, and I know I've seen some users on here from various countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. The recordings would only take a few minutes to make.

Actually, I was going to see if any English speakers contacted me, and if no one did, I'd do it myself. But if you're interested, do it! I'd be happy to use it. I'll pm more details tomorrow!

I speak Spanish, Catalan, Italian, and with a less-than-perfect level and pronounciation also Dutch and some French (not counting English of course). But I warn you, my timbre sucks.

Sorry I haven't Pm'd yet. I'll get to it tomorrow. I have been in between Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa the last few weeks. I just got back home and it's time to hit the hay, cuz I'm beat.

Well, I've got Spanish, but I would love Italian or Catalan, whichever you can do better. Timbre is not an issue. I'll prime my EQ for you!

Now then, what format/quality? Any particular specifications as to the circumstances of recording? You're the boss!

Oh, as far as "circumstances" go, and I assume you mean the environment or quality issues, as long as there isn't any background noise I am sure I can tweak the sound to what I want. So, you don't need to be in a studio to get a great take. A smartphone has worked well for a few people, and computer mics have been okay as long as people be careful not to get pops, cracks, peaks, etc.
