You speak the truth... BUT, you gotta admit... Braum's can certainly make a half-decent Hamburger!  Skip the Southwest Chili Salad and opt-in for the Banana Split instead.

More about the 4th "b" can be found HERE:    http://www.braums.com/

Hi Doug, what is 3 B's of music by the way?

This is a better question, like a multiple choice quiz:

1) Choose the correct answer:

Which one is infinite?

a) Human stupidity;
b) The certainty;
c) Both;
d) Nothingness;
e) The whole universe of things.

I would choose the answer a)

Keith Emerson failed an audition for Kraftwerk in 1971 because he played too sparingly

John Cage's original title for his notorious 4:33 composition was Tangerine Dream Unplugged

It has been known by being Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms to many for years, kind of a classical music slogan,  the most important composers whose names start with B-I love Brahms, but Bruckner is more groundbreaking as a symphonist, imo. How's it going with your Bruckner listening, Ric?

yeah right on, that was inspired in what Einstein said - he was not sure about the Universe being infinite...

I actually tend to subscribe to that point of view, with some reservations. replace "only good" with "best" and you certainly get my vote

I will stick to Brahms instead of Bruckner as in the original statement. Bruckner is one of the few composers I can't stand at all

the phrase was originally coined by Peter Cornelius and referred to Bach,  Beethoven and Berlioz. later the conductor Hans von Bülow (father-in-law to Richard Wagner) wrote in a letter:
"Mein musikalisches Glaubensbekenntniss steht in Es dur, mit drei B-en in der Vorzeichnung: Bach, Beethoven, und Brahms,  which I would translate as "my musical creed is written in Es major, with three B's in the key signature: Bach, Beethoven and Brahms". "B" refers to the musucal notation for the key Es major.

Hans von Bülow is also known for the statement "I believe in Bach, the Father, Beethoven, the Son, and Brahms, the Holy Ghost of music"

as to most outrageous musical statement.

Johann Sebastian Bach had no idea how to compose. it is a pity that Felix Mendelssohn dug him up 100 years after his death; he should have been left to obliteration
