Attention
all Ozark Soundscape fans! I'm very pleased to announce that I have
started my own record label, I Thought You Were a Marxist Records!
Featuring music by anyone who wants to be on it who isn't absolutely
horrible. Check out the two releases on there already, a compilation of
recent material from yours truly, including two never before released
songs, and a great new work from The Polar Syntax Project (known among PAers as The Truth)! Also, like I Thought You Were A Marxist Records' Facebook page to stay up to date on our future releases

What do you actually offer to musicians that they can't already do themselves? It's not like you're actually funding studio time or anything like that.

Well, I'm hoping that with more and more artists releasing stuff, fans of one artist on the label will hear another band on the label they might not have otherwise, and each artists fanbase will grow and grow, and that, coupled with me promoting it across different areas of the web, the overall fanbase of the label will grow. Hopefully people will start paying for some of those releases, and so the artists and myself will get more money they would otherwise not have the opportunity of getting, and hopefully after a few years it will be big enough to pay for artists' physical releases and studio time, and maybe even give part time jobs to some people. Of course the last half of this paragraph or so is a bit further in the future, so one can only guess at how successful it will be, but might as well try. Plus it's fun.

In my sig you can find BIO-111, an EP from PA's own Nicky Jadaszewski that I produced. Check it out, it's great!
