Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all feel half-dead like I do right now.LOL

Which 2014 release are you anticipating the most? I just picked a few off the top of my head; I know there will be lots of new releases coming out in the next three months but most of them do not have album titles yet.

Other. There's a new IQ album on May 3rd, which I'm most interested in.

IQ's new album will be my most anticipated release by far.

I love that awful, unoriginal, derivative neo-prog, you know.

Waiting on new Phideaux, Anekdoten, live Eloy and whatever Steven Wilson undoubtedly unveils upon us. And I believe Mr. Fripp has announced King Crimson will record again.

Always up for a new Mogwai album, so I voted that.

Also, this:

I've never heard Ulver before but I've been eagerly awaiting Sunn's next project for a while now.

Rumors abound that both David Gilmour and Roger Waters are working on new albums. I don't know if either one will get a 2014 release, but those are what I'm looking for the most, as far as prog related.

Also can't wait for new albums by Phideaux (should be this year) and Steven Wilson (though that's probably a few years away).

Gilmour and Waters, of course. One album only would have been fantastic, but we'll have two.

I have also heard that George Lucas is working at the 7th episode of Star Wars...not prog but...Approve
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Me too, if they release it this year :( I've never wanted to hear an album so much. I've read that they got 4 or 5 songs finished so it sounds good

Im antipating it just to unrelentlessly bash it, just like you unrelentlessly make silly posts like this.

Let's see who has more fun.

Other. In prog, I'm most looking forward to Beardfish, IQ and iamthemorning; in non-prog, it's Bosnian Rainbows, Warpaint and St. Vincent.
I will be a checking out a number of those on the list, though.

I'm agree with you (but not for Anekdoten Ohi). I'm waiting for another Phideaux work too.
A real surprise might be if Areknames did a new album, They're still at 2010!!!
