Hide sexual parts people for google....as a species there is only 7 billion of us on the planet so removing some pubic hair won't deter us from procreating again , again and again Reminds me I need to play Cunning Stunts again

What's wrong with the cover of 'Country Life' ?? Their 'parts' are covered anyway, and they're really not that 'hot' either. In all honesty, I don't and can't understand what's so offensive about these sorts of covers ??
Take a look at the cover to Wallenstein's 'No More Love' album - now that's more offensive to me.... Edited by Tom Ozric - October 17 2013 at 14:23 |

When I go onto a new webpage from PA, around half of the time Google Ads shows a male targeted gaming site (won't name it just in case) where you play as half naked girls! It is by far more sexually oriented than anything you would get on PA (except that Roxy Music cover...) Double standards Google, double standards

I don't know why people complain, this was caused by some of us.
I remember that M@X was very excited with "The Album of the Month" A section created to search for alternative financing of the site, to free us from Google, some bands bought space in Prog Archives, and we promoted the album for a month and a cost. First came Thorman Maxt, everybody complained that the album is crap and that we shouldn't sell ourselves. Then M@X searched for a new band called Deluge Grandeur that was excellent (If I'm not wrong about the band) and people started to complain about Prog Archives promoting an ugly "retro Prog" album, some members said we shouldn't accept those albums to promote, that M@X should search for really prog albums. After that, it all went to hell, I had at least two bands interested in being promoted for a payment, but after reading all the complains they thought that "The album of the Month" was negative advertising and told us to forget, because they wouldn't pay to be insulted by our members. So we don't like to be censored (I don't like that either), but some of us don't like alternative solutions. This is imposed by Google, if we want ProgArchives open, we have to accept,

I'm only discivering this issue now... (scanned a few pages of this discussion Sorry to chime in so late in the (5 days old) debate
Are there any alternatives to Google adds???... I know Google is pretty hard to avoid nowadays, but how did we manage before Google was such an inevitable giant??
Salut M@X, long time no read (it's my fault >> too busy ) Not that I'm very concerned about this issue (never had an avatar in PA and my sig has been empty for about a year), but unless you go to the review's permalink, you don't see the reviewer's avatar next to the reviews... and (unless I'm mistaken) the signature is only visible in the forum, therefore not linked to the reviews or database... So yeah, I can understand that some might want their avatar next to their reviews (but it's only applicable to permalinks anyway), so it seems that from my (slanted) PoV, if avatars are not internally censored, they can be suppressed from the reviews, database etc... And for the avatars of the collabs in the collab page, well, xould it be unreasonable to ask that Admins, SC, PR and such have politically correct avatars(as much as I can be against pilitical correctness and censorship, Idon't find this to be a maor issue.... at least not nearly as much as the album artworks being vandalized. my 0.02p |

Reminds me of a line from Clerks, to paraphrase: this would be a great site if it weren't for the visitors.

^ Once covers will be "pixelized", then we'll have to restore them.
