Hey Pixel, how far are you from Sweden? Do the names Anna Lindh and Olaf Palme mean anything to you. How about Denmark? How about Pim Fortuyn? Oh, and here's one closer to home. http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article924447.ece Google tells lots. Tragic about Darrell, though, and I'm not even a Pantera fan. Of course this will lead to changes in how concerts are presented. More security will be put in place (which I don't mind), but the costs will be passed on ... and some artists will be more reluctant. |

Every time I read of one these tragic and insane incidents,it's always in America. Why is it that that type of lunatic springs so easily from American soil? Why do we never hear of similar incidents in Lichtenstein? Or Denmark? Or Germany? What is about American society that breeds these gun toting maniacs?

"Dimebag Darrell was murdered on stage December 8, 2004, when a gunman opened fire at a Damageplan concert in Columbus, Ohio." (from wikipedia)
Seems so. |

How did he die? If he drove his car like a maniac and finally died in a crash,it's not senseless. If he did a lot of drugs and they finally killed him,it's not senseless. If he was into extremesports and constantly threw himself off mountains,it's not senseless. If he was walking along the sidewalk and a piano fell on him and killed him, that's senseless. Millions of people all over the world go down on their hands and knees every day of their lives and beg to die in a certain, specific way so when their wish is finally granted,it can certainly not be called a senseless death, but a very logical and reasonable one. So,how did he die?

Yeah. This is pretty sad...I got to interview him for college radio back in the 'Cowboys from Hell' days and he was a really nice, laid-back guy. The whole thing is senseless.
