I love Line 6.  I think they are the best of the "modeling" fad.

Lyrics and singing are definitely my biggest challenges.  With a guitar, it's easy.  With my voice, it's war.
Onni loved to bang and trample on our keyboard as well, and what do you know, after a while all it let out was a really nasty buzz whatever sound you used Embarrassed Luckily my birthday was coming up so Saija got us a new one. Bass is probably his favourite instrument at the moment, and he's learning to pluck some nice clean notes from it when I lay it on the floor Clap

I know I can sing a nice song with a pretty voice, but do I have the confidence to put any weight into it and really belt out if needed? The three actual songs that at least are definitely coming on the album all require quite different styles, it remains to be seen if I can handle them all. That's the biggest problem I have. Luckily I happen to work in a place that has a couple of soundproof rooms designed for recording, so there I can make all the noise I want without thinking if the neighbors hear me.

One of the plus sides of having a baby has been that I've been singing so many silly songs to him that I've actually gained a lot of confidence in my vocal skills Tongue

Gosh, you remind me of myself.  I sang Ink Spots songs to my firstborn just to get him to go to sleep.  I love being a Dad.

A good thing that Seagulls are such good scavengers.

That's one of the biggest problems i have with my music; I struggle to come up with good lyrics, and my voice is pretty bad.

Do you think that you could have a good voice if you were writing bad lyrics?

If you don't smoke, and practice, your voice will get better.

I sang in a band when I was about 15-16 and my voice was pretty bad too.  Your voice doesn't really take shape until later.

A male's voice doesn't reach maturity until his 30s.

Jesus, listen to Jon Anderson.

I still have a recording of me singing "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" by Def Leppard.  It's hilarious.

I thought that smoking and drinking whiskey were prerequisites for becoming rock singers.  isn't that how you get that patented Lemmy/Ian Gillan voice?

Compare young Steve Walsh with old Steve Walsh and get back to me on that.

Tom Waits' voice was produced by drinking and smoking and eating broken glass and gravel.

Are you suggesting Smarty should eat broken glass and gravel?
