And even in the context of the movie, I fail to see the point of that Italian journalist singing "Tengo Na Minchia Tanta", a song recorded in the 80s as the film was being completed.  It's not even a good song.

Yes, Ronnie and Neil were friends.  I'm sure they had no real animosity towards each other, but what concerns me is how US Southerners often use this song  (specifically that verse) as a point of pride for bragging rights, like they won an argument or something.

Maybe I'm overthinking this. LOL  Just an idle thought in my head today.

It really is. One of the earliest jazz-rock compositions ever made. The melody came from Lumpy Gravy at least 2 years earlier. But Zappa had an even earlier JR/F piece in the form of Invocation & Ritual Dance Of The Young Pumpkin, from Absolutely Free in 1967. Frank was always waaay ahead of his time.

New laptop has Windows 8, which I am quickly getting used to, and really enjoying. Not to mention it's very fast.

Yep.  Listening to the album on Spotify.  Vocalist sounds like Peter Gabriel and the added touch of the flute does give them a Genesis feel.

What's the point of censoring movies? If you hear a f--k, you know what they're saying; it's still inviting the same ideas into your head. People are more afraid of the word it's self than the meaning.

edit: wait a minute, Stan Whitaker from Happy the Man is in this band!  Now it's coming back to me....  I think I've read something about these guys.
