Did you just run that through google translate a million times?

No, I came up with some nonsense in English with a few references to Call Me Maybe, put it through Norwegian, then to English, then to Norwegian

Well, it inspired me to do a little google translating myself; I ran my Epignosis Refulgence review through it a bunch of times.  I'll post some of it later but for now here's the tracklist, according to my revised review:

1. Noon
2. This Song
3. Bold, Victorious Shout Valley Herald
4. Due to the Differences in Ways Not Disappoint Us
5. A Deep Reflection on the World and the World Meridian
6. My Door
7. More Heavy Song on the Album
8. Some
9. Talk to Him
I love dogs, I've always loved dogs

Good question.  I really haven't thought that far ahead.

I remember not being too impressed with what I've heard from Split Enz before, but I'll give them another shot and try this one out on Spotify tomorrow.

Cool! Mental Notes is their proggiest album, when Phil Judd (vocalist and guitarist) was in the band. After he left, the band went in a poppier direction, but they were still good IMO. Hope the next listen goes better for ya. Smile

Oh yes....

"Spellbound" ....... whoaaaa

Btw, have you heard any of Phil Judd's solo stuff?  He put one out just a few years ago called "Love is a Moron", and I was extremely impressed with it.  There's a song on it called "W**kers" that is so awesome I can hardly sit still when it's on.

edit: checked, and there's nothing from that album on Youtube, and only one song on Grooveshark.

It's not very fashionable to be a Phil Judd fan these days, not since his unfortunate drunken Facebook stalking episode.

Yeah haven't heard anything from Phil Judd solo.

As much 80's music as I listen to, it seems that the 80's bands that you guys listen to are ones that I never have listened to.

So maybe call me
I want to do to you as The Tramp does with his flute
I want to do to you as I do to my car

Pretty much in the spirit of the song and the video, I felt, but it doesn't trump Andrew's excellent Norwegian version, which doesn't make any sense at allLOL
I loved both yours and Smarty's version, and I want to paste them both on my wall.  Clap

Split Enz were actually a 70s band that continued into the 80s, and their earliest material was quite Genesis-like.  Worth a listen.

Haven't heard a full album but "Music From The Spheres" is a damn good track as well as their big hit "Hold Your Head Up."
