Hmmmm, interesting. Though by using Vick as a more "aggressive" running first QB opposed to pocket and pass, you'd think they can minimize his negatives. And he is already a decent passer, especially with the deep ball.
It'll be interesting what he does, if I was Chip...with Vick already there I'd have to seriously think about using him.

Vick's strength with the deep ball definitely helps, but I just don't see it happening. To even consider it, he would have to restructure his contract.

Your epic fanboyism has clouded your grasp of English anyway and missed "even if sometimes wrong" thus...the reputation isn't completely deserved.
Or ill call you a yinser again and say go hook up with slutty Sheetz chicksWink you seem to respond better to it.

I must not know what english is anymore.  I'm the first to admit that I, myself, am a terrible writer so don't take this as an insult but: I still have no f**king clue what you were trying to say in that first post if it wasn't "teo is a liar, he'll be drafted by Pittsburgh".

Te'o can f*** off and do what he wants. The whole confusing story is stupid. He's clearly involved and was not taken advantage of, though I'm not not gonna bother too much caring about it.

Problem as I see it is, Notre Dame, and every football-driven institution, exists in a fantasy universe of booster cult worship and money-driven goals. High school football is not even exempt, and the NFL should certainly not be.
Why does a story about a possibly gay Mormon linebacker, and his team losing miserably in one of the most boring bowl games ever, get so much rabid national and media attention, but the culture of rape-and-cover by universities, all the way up to their highest levels of leadership, gets buried?

Why does a player like Ray Lewis who, at the very least was marginally complicit in the murder of 2 people, get a pass, and is then allowed to privately compensate the affected families, then gets to retire as a hero and will assuredly end up in the Hall of Fame?

I love football, but when the excitement of it comes to me at the expense of others, it's tarnished and filthy.

Te'o lied about a girl. Big deal. It's not the story that demands headlines.

The world over, we've forced our athletes to become heroes, and it's so wrong.

I'm setting the over-under at 3 seasons for Chip Kelly.  His offense should translate into NFL success just about as well as Steve Spurrier's did.

There's no comparison between the two. They're completely different.

He's a college coach and, outside of Jimmy Johnson, college coaches are duds in the pros.  I think if the Spurrier comparison is unfair, at all, it's because Spurrier was much more accomplished when he tried his hand in the pros.  Oregon had a gimmick offense that will translate into the NFL about as well as it translated into success against SEC teams.

Eagles need to dump Vick. He's a turnover machine who, even when his offensive line was healthy, kept throwing up bad passes and fumbling at will. Foles is raw but has a great arm and seems to read defenses well. He was actually decent as a rookie considering he was thrown into the fire and seemed to improve as the season progressed. No brainer, stick with Foles and get rid of Vick. I'm sure Buffalo or Arizona would want him.

I'll say SF and NE to win this weekend. Don't really care who wins for the AFC...but damn would I like Atlanta to kick ass tomorrow.

Well, wouldn't have been my preference but obviously have no choice now but to root for the Ravens.
Clearly they are playing better than they really are thanks to rallying around Ray, and hey...whatever it takes. It's all about momentum these days.
Besides, that's what you can do when your teammates actually like you...unlike when Tiki Barber triedLOL

GO NINERS!
Falcons are still weak

Still early.  Remember how the second half looked entirely different last week against Seattle.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for. With the pressure on Matty Ice, ironically, still has yet to really impress me.
Kudos making the two huge passes when needed but can also give some flak to Seattle for allowing it when it was clear that's what they were gunna do.

We shall see. Falcons, Niners and Ravens would all be cool, honestly just want the damn Pats to lose lol

If the Falcons manage to hold on they might as well hand out the Lombardi at the AFC Championship game.  Ugh
What an awful roughing the passer call against Atlanta.

Yeah my faith in the Falcons is still quite low. They're doing it again, hot start, can't close and now can't step up with the game wide open. If they win and have to face the Pats it's game over. Sheesh, Ravens better not f**k this up, the G men are out so we don't have them to clean up the mess you in the AFC make :P

Tell me about it.  Ugh.

I've resolved to not attach my sense of self-worth to the outcome of this game.  I can't handle another heart attack like last week.

Yup.
We all know the Niners have a great defense, but really...considering how great he often is, a little funny how Ryan can't seem to close. Could've easily put San Fran away.
Ah well the better team took this one.

Congrats to the Niners!! Hope they win the big game too, since that'd mean beating the Pats or having Lewis' big finale fall just short! Big smile

Not my favorite, the 49ers, where was the falcons
run defense, they ran Gore on the same play for 14 points. Sucks.
