Don't you remember the thrashing the Seahawks gave SF not long ago?
If the Seahawks can beat Atlanta today they can beat SF also.

Anybody can win

But I see SF stronger, with a QB who's also   gets 181 rushing yards, IMO the chances are with them.

Kaepernick rushed for 7 yards against Seattle and got sacked for a loss of 13 yards for a net gain of -6 yards. Watch the video it is a lot of fun to watch.

Hoping Atlanta wins today.  If they can make it past Seattle, I think the sky's the limit for them.  They just have a hard time making it past that first playoff game.  Are they afraid of success?  Tune in today, and see.

Yeah, when you have 2 similar teams like the Niners and Hawks you really can't compare and match this and that and etc just gotta let em play. Goes beyond the numbers and stats, just win your battles, out-physical them, love it!

Well this is do or die time, Falcons are a very good team but they lack that "oomph"  Ryan is good when all is good but rarely seems to take over or really wow you, but the team showed some grit and should be a great game. Pulling for the hawks though.
Oh and of course they are not, the playoffs are just hard manLOL Also think about it
08 Ryan was a rookie, its really not a shock when they lose in the playoffs and it was to the cards that went on to the SB
10 Lost to the Packers that went on to win the SB
11 Lost to the Giants that went on to win the SB, and we know the defensive roll they got on.
It looks bad but I really don't buy they are "weak" and playoff mental block and all that

I will say that talent-wise and coaching-wise, this is the best Falcons team I've ever seen.  The big question is whether they have the *oomph* as Brian says.  The Falcons talk a lot about keeping a cool head and concentrating on fundamentals, but when you're in the playoffs, you really need to be kind of insanely driven as well, because chances are your opponent will be too.

No need for the 'Hawks to panic.  They started off slow last week and we all saw what happened.  They just can't let Atlanta get too far ahead.

And hey, this is just the beginning. They have a rookie QB, and almost all their players seem to be under 3 years in the league. Very young team, and they are already this good. Which means even if the Hawks lose, well that'll suck for the fans but gotta feel good. Will be around a while and Wilson is still limited, imagine when he gets even better and can really open up the pass Shocked

Agreed.  Their future looks bright, but what was that play call on 4th and 1!?  It seems like they're relying too much on the run in short yardage situations.  Where's the play action pass at?  Or the designed QB running plays?  And the defense needs to be able to stop the run.  So far, they haven't.

Seattle could have kicked two field goals and put some points on the board. Falcons look good but Seattle can come back.

A regrouped post-halftime Seattle team does make me a little nervous, as an Atlanta fan.
I saw a lot of fire in Atlanta's eyes in the first half that I don't often see, though.  If they can maintain that level of intensity and passion, look out.

I do think they need another RB, Seattle. Lynch is a beast but you cant have someone carry so many times, esp being so physical.
I think this game is just good D from Atlanta, but still. Dont wanna blow lynch out already, helluva back.

yeah maybe they do rely on it too much but I cant blame em, they've handled Wilson well...better than the trial by fire Luck got.

Oh, and last night: I take it back. Well, I still think Smith was a more than solid QB and did get jipped a bit but Kaepernick just does things that Smith doesn't seem capable.

You were saying? Wink

Well I'm out $5 because of those final 2 passes and FG, but that was a hell of a game. The Falcons finally ended their playoff struggles today, and hopefully the final game of the weekend is just as good. But I'm just praying that the Texans can keep it close, because I don't think they can win.

Congrats to the Falcons, the Hawks played with heart. Wilson, rookie of the year, total poise

Indeed. Too bad it won't mean anything when the 49ers come to town next weekend.
