Definitely an entertaining game so far tonight. Add on that crazy blocked FG returned for a TD and the Seachickens are blowing this game wide open. And here I thought it was going to be a really close one.

Darkhorse.
Such a balanced and solid team, the real question mark was QB but hell, I wouldn't wanna play the Seahawks in the playoffs. |

Damn, Seattle! What a performance! My dad's a hard to please, die-hard Seahawks fan and even he was stunned at what happened tonight.

The Steelers don't need a new head coach, they need to get some skill players on the offensive line to protect Ben, they need a healthy running back and a couple of receivers that can catch the ball and not only winning the speed race. And on top of that they have to get a better special teams game, and they have to stop taking penalties... Haven't said enough... |

Excellent beat down by the 'hawks. A packer, seahawks show down is looking like a good NFC championship game (assuming seeding stays as is)
Also, won my fantasy championship...aside from the giants taking it up the ass it was a good day. |

The problem they have with the offensive line is injuries, in part because they have to work twice as hard as other offensive lines because of how long Ben scrambles around. Any lack of attention paid to the offensive line in the Tomlin era has to fall on the him, though, doesn't it? Their special teams weren't as bad this year as in years past and I like Rainey as a return man. They don't block particularly well on punt returns but, outside the ref aided return Baltimore had, they didn't give up many long returns either. Losing the field position battle so badly down the stretch had a lot to do with the offense not moving the ball and a bend-don't-break defensive scheme. I don't trust NFL officiating.

You still have you to choose whether or not to accept my proposal that we trade coaches. |

Screw all of ya, I want Coughlin and you can't have him.
Anyone who wants Gilbride or Perry Fewell be my guest! If you wanna take Corey Webster, Antrell Rolle, Osi and David Diehl while you're at it, feel free ; ) Indeed, Hawks were gunna be a strong team and future threat but they may have kicked it into overdirve mode, and are a threat already! Impressive team, and what's not to love? Great D, epic running back, solid passing offense that can do more. They, and the niners, are what my Giants used to be |

Why not a bit of silliness for the holidays?
Some of these are pretty far off, but some are spot on! http://www.buzzfeed.com/benrosen/all-32-nfl-quarterbacks-their-muppet-doppelgange?sub=1781580_594733 |

Indeed!
So I am now torn. The Giants shot at the playoffs is actually not that un realistic. 3 have to lose but Cowboys to the Skins, that's very possible. Vikings to the Packers, also very possible (even if AP goes beast mode) and Bears to the Lions? Least likely but again quite possible. Sadly, the biggest roadblock is...us And we should beat the Eagles easily but look how woeful this season has been. Anyway, I almost don't want them to make it...they've been so sh*tty, why sneak in just to lose? Also maybe a post season shut out would make sure changes get made, esp to the back 7 and o line. on the other hand...the fan in me realizes our best games were against the Niners and Packers and if we can make it to them in the post season who knows. LOL No worries, I'm sure Vick and co will spank us and make it easy Edited by JJLehto - December 26 2012 at 17:57 |

Dude!
Wassup??? Actually I think the Giants will sneak in! My Skins should beat the Cowpies. The Pack will definitely beat the Viikings. The huge prob is the Bears, but maybe the Lions will pull out a shocker as Megatron catches 3 TD passes...
Looks like the Giants' brutal schedule finaly caught up wth them....
I am up North, 20 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, for Christmas. Can you believe the crazy TV stations up here didn't show the Redskins - Eagles game last week??? Fox NY showed some stupid "paid advertising" infomercial. That'a a big part of why NY is not a real football city.
Also, I am enjoying reading the New York papers(actual newspapers...) as they crucify Eli & Coughlin like
those two Super Bowl Championships never happened. Ouch!!!! New York is a tough town!
I would think in Washington or Dallas, two Lombardies in 5 years would bring a little more love from the media.
Yipes!
...Nothing like having a rare roast beef deli sanwhich with a copy of the NY Daily News or Post.! The New York area is the best!
One small thing:
How ya like RGIII now???

I don't know why everyone thinks the Packers will beat the Vikings. I think Peterson will shred the Packers defense completely while the Packers offense struggles.

Hey Dude, first: You have one of the real cool avatars here. Self portrait?
You could be right about the Viikings. One thing I have learned after watching football for 45 years, great running backs (except for actual human monsters like Jim Brown or Earl Campbell) mostly get keyed on in big games and get minimized.
The Pack are still playing for somethin and I like Rogers more than Ponder(like by a factor or 50,000 times...)
The Pack will be throwing TDs left & right so the Viikings will have to play catch up. Too much pressure on Ponder.
Look for a bad game from him, in that case the Viikings run game is rendered moot. Plus the Pack dee will certainly be prepared for Peterson. Just how I see it. Now, if the Viikings man up, including Ponder and they punk the Pack, then major props for them for forcing their way into the playoffs.
Personally I want Chicago & Minn. & Dallas to loose so somehow the Redskins & Giants can meet in the playoffs,
only so JJLehto can get another first hand look at RGIII.

Guess I have to root for the Pack, the lions, and the 'skins.
Go those teams.

The Packs, The Broncos, The Falcons and the Pats are the hottest teams before the playoffs, so i expect the Colts to win it all!

well giants off to an amazing start. 3 td passes in the first quarter, running well, getting pressure. Shame they completely tanked their f**kin season, even if they win there's no guarantee it'll mean anything.
