Tuck is inactive for the Ravens game.
Wonder why. If he's hurt that could explain his ghost like year.
Looks like Osi will start. Not in his prime, but been a decent rusher, maybe he'll turn on with more snaps. Still think Kiwanuka should be put back at DE. He's been great when given the chance. Just hope this will get some pass rush going!

Christmas comes early for the hpless Bungles as Santa Ben has decided to gift them a playoff spot.  The transformation into Brett Favre is complete.  Steelers outplayed the Bungles inall aspects except for intelligence (which hard to fathom considering Lewis went for a 4th and forever and called for a 56 YRD FG attempt).

Unfortunately I have to agree with you there. Outside of our defensive 4 playing absolutely outstanding, we played terrible in every other aspect of the game. Granted, that 4th and 22 they went on was basically in no-man's land (terrible to punt, kick the FG, or go for it) but I agree that and the 56-yard field were completely mindblowing. I figured the 4th down one was at least to try and draw your D-line offsides and call the timeout with no time on the play clock, so I was yelling and screaming at the TV through that entire play.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually feel really good about our first playoff game, which looks like it could be against the Pats of all teams. If our D-line continues to play like this, Brady's going to be constantly under pressure. And unlike Big Ben, he's not the kind of guy who can run, avoid tackles, and extend plays. And then I still have a lot of questions about their defense. But for now, I'll take today and give my heart a chance to restart.

Yup.
Yet again, the Steelers always play better when they lose, but everything is A OK in yinser land when they winWink
I see a Bengals team that threw 0 tds and 2 picks, ran 15 times for 14 yards (WTF?) and you couldn't beat them?
Your team has become pathetic.

Speaking of pathetic, this is no news but the Giants had four linebackers on the field and still can't stop the run. Even when he's bottled up, they just kinda hold on to him and let em slide past. I thought it was bad last year but wow, this defense is a travesty to NY Giants football.

I try to stay fair, so while he has had another maddeningly inconsistent year...as of late Romo has been playing superb football. Dez Bryant seems to be coming to life. Thank god it's too late, if Romo ever kept this consistent for a year (god forbid) they'd run away with the NFC east.

The Bungles are a one and done team unless they somehow end up against the Ravens in the first round.  With the style of offense (quick short passes) the Patriots run it doesn't matter that Brady isn't as mobile as Ben.  Brady will have the ball dumped off to one of their many tiny recievers before anyone gets near him.  Ben's extending of plays led to him costing the Steelers the game today.  The sacks he took were almost entirely on Ben's unwillingness to let go (cost them a field goal attempt after Dalton's first INT) and the game losing INT was on a roll out.  I'd have killed for a pocket passer today.
Mike Tomlin needs to be fired.

Green-Ellis isn't as good as a lot of people are giving him credit for. Sure, he's had a stretch of really good games lately that put him at the 2nd most yards for a rushing back this season (three guesses to figure out who he's behind LOL). But early on, I saw a guy who was getting at most 2 or 3 yards every carry, fell down a lot, didn't exploit holes that his linemen gave him, and was slow to do so when they did. I think linebacker and safety are our biggest concerns going into next season, but we could sure as hell use another running back.

Yeah, that Giants D looks absolutely pitiful. I can't see them making the playoffs this year because of it.

Steelers points off of Bungles turnovers: 0
Bungles points off of Steelers turnovers: 10
Should add that the Bungles other 3 points were off what I believe to be about a 15 yards drive after a poor Steelers' punt from our own endzone.
The defense played a brilliant game but Ben and the coaching staff game it away. I can think of at least 6 key moments in which all the Steelers had to do was to not f**k up, ANY ONE OF THEM (JUST ONE), in a catastrophic way and they'd still be playing meaningful football next week.

Oh I know, but it's become my mission to rightfully (when it's deserved) trash your team since it's your mission to trash the other 31.

Better team still won, if you f**k up well...you weren't better. Way to go Bengals! If they build more on offense may be a good team for some years. And the AFC is so weak I could see them advancing in the playoffs. The Texans will flop. When you lose to AP...erm the Vikings, you have issues.

It's beyond pitiful man. I actually hope they've given up...because if this is them trying, oi!
At least they may be forced to finally retool. I wanted Osi gone last year, I want Rolle gone, Webster is a Giants vet but he's gone off a cliff. Give the rest the off season to get healthy again and try again in 2013. Get to the SB then when it'll be in our stadiumCool

I trash whomever deserves trashing, including my team.

You're a damn fool if you think the Bungles are a better team (I know you don't get to watch the games but still). Very little understanding of the AFC is shown in your whole paragraph.  Marvin Lewis is till their coach and they are still the type of team that needs decent teams to hand them games.  Out in the first round (unless they face Baltimore) and THAT'S A ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE.  The Bungles are equally as stinky as the Steelers with fewer mistakes.

I can't believe how far the Giants defense has fallen.  It's really hard to let Flacco and company move the ball on you.

I think I understand the AFC fine. You all suck. And when it comes to Pats vs Broncos IDK, just not sold on Denver's D. You all have given NE another ticket to the SB, at least to the championship game.

Hell no! Well, I think Tomlin has been fine enough but Coughlin is the man. One of the guys who actually coaches instead of trying to re invent the game, or trying to do what he wants etc etc Really knows football. You can have Kevin Gilbride, he's a nutcase but that should work for Ben. Actually, his style would work really well for him.

I know you're pre disposed to link all suck with Flacco but we've made everyone look good. Except the game against Rodgers ironically. There were issues last year and I know they won the SB, but they kept the same team and that was a mistake. Can't expect the D to go from sh*t to '85 bears every time.
There's been a lot of bad calls on both sides. Very poorly officiated game.

The AFC playoff picture is set now, at least with who's going.  Not sure about how the seeding could still play out.  The NFC side should be fairly interesting and will become a lot clearer after tonights game (or not, if the Seahawks lose).  Dallas and probably the Giants losing today really make it hard for them to get in at this point.

Ben's fine with Tomlin.  It's not being a nutcase that appeals to Ben it's being spineless.  Tomlin won't challenge him.  One of them has to go for this team to have the chance of a real future.  I watched most of our nightly sportscall program and it's amazing how delusional people are.  I can't believe on a team so top-to-bottom dysfunctional nobody is taking Tomlin to task and all the attention is going to a 1st year offensive coordinator that Ben was a baby about having to work with.

Go Seattle!  My Lions were an absolute embarrassment this season, so I have to root for the Seahawks now.  Should be good, though.

No Gilbride would work well with Ben because he leaves a lot to the QB. He also is aggressive, sometimes bordering on insanity, so all that seems it would fit Ben's nature.

It's not been to the benefit of either team, just a general: This officiating crew has been heinous. So many terrible calls on both sides.

Well, same sh*t different day.
Atrocious defense, and the O line has slipped back to their 2011 level of suck.
No wonder Eli still tries to force it, and tries to make everything happen every play...he has to!
To think this team dominated the Niners, Packers and Saints...I feel sick.

Oi...your up by 26 points, clearly the Giants are just packing it in and waiting to leave and Reed had to put that aggressive a hit on Cruz? Yes...I was being polite thereLOL
Well kudos to the Ravens, the few times we did manage anything yo guys were right on the receivers.
Here's to 2013 New York Giants. FIX YOUR sh*t

He was with the Steelers briefly, before Mike Mularkey.  The Steelers don't need a new OC, they need a head coach.  I'd love to see Ben getting chewed out on the sidelines every once and awhile for his bonehead plays but that would require Tomlin to A) gain a basic understanding of what's going on around him and B) grow a pair.  This city is sick enough to make Haley a scagegoat and that sickens me.  Has to deal with a spoiled QB that feels he's above being coached and a head coach that seems to be ok with that and probably didn't want Haley, either.  Haley was delt a terrible hand.
