Part 2 isn't that hard, other than a few parts.

Huh, so that power chord in LTIA II is just an E major chord with an F in it, creating that minor 2nd rub.  And the little doo doo dwee doo dwee do part looks fairly easy to play too.  I guess it's all in the distortion.  I need to try that out at the next band practice.

edit: totally misread the chord.  Never mind.  Still easy to play.

Link doesn't work, but I can tell that's the same site I looked at.
I noticed it was submitted by Colin Marston, who's a guitarist in some modern metal band whose name escapes me, but who appears as a musical collaborator on this Jarboe album I was listening to this morning.  Nice coincidence.

My alphabetical journey through my collection has led me to Radiohead this morning.  They are a band that I guess that I like well enough but they have never fully clicked for me.  I kind of have a hard time considering them as a progressive rock band.  They are more of an indie/alternative/grunge rock band.

I feel much the same way.  They're a good band that's done some admirable experimentation to make their sound incorporate more art rock idioms that appeal to me, but at the end of the day there's 12 other bands I'd rather listen to for that kind of sound.  I've only heard 3 albums of theirs (Bends, Computer, Kid A), and all of them are good albums.  Haven't ventured beyond that though.

Everything I've heard by them has been pretty mediocre

When I'm in the mood for it I like OK Computer quite a bit. I wish Thom Yorke did more stuff like this though.

I know that there are guys on here who absolutely love The King of Limbs.  It was their album of the year last year, and they call it Radiohead's best album ever.  For me, it was a boring and disappointing album.  It wasn't necessarily bad, but it just wasn't really that good either, if that makes sense.

I've been getting into the spirit of listening to a band's whole discography in order too.  Yesterday I listened to 7 Steve Miller Band albums (all the album before the Joker).  Today I'm considering the same for King Missile, though I'm missing one of their albums so it won't be complete.

I've probably played Steve Miller's greatest hits album a couple of hundred times but I have never really delved any further with him.  I do have one of his more recent releases.  Something "River".

My top thee would be: III, IV and Houses. I haven't really listened to the others enough to judge.

So how about the Who? I've been getting more into them lately, enjoying Live at Leeds and Who's Next especially.

I've always liked the Who, but I've never been as heavily into them as I have the Beatles and the Kinks.  There's really only one Who album that I would give 5 stars (Quadrophenia).
