Gotta admit, this wasn't a great year to be a Philly sports fan.
Although I guess one good thing to take away from the Eagles' season at this point is I think they could start focusing on the future more. Throw some of the young guys out on the field more and at least do something for evaluation purposes. You know Reid, Vick, and probably most of the defense will be gone, so might as well see if you made some good decisions with the new guys and give them some experience.
I'd also hope they make some serious adjustments to that O-line. I don't care if The Flash is playing QB for them at this point. They can hardly protect anyone from anything.

Damn. Beat me...I was gunna say man you can ALWAYS keep faith in Dallas for a win. Hell even if you should lose they will find a way to blow it. I'll be fair, I don't think the team is this bad. Surely they've given up on the season by now, and its painful. Giants quit late '09 and its a sad sad thing to watch. It was a valiant attempt. The Eagles went for broke and tried to create a super team, (they should know how that failed in Dallas but ah well). Babin is gone, Reid will be following, I have no idea about Vick, and who knows how far the houe cleaning will go. Finally a good Thursday game! I guess I'm pulling for the Falcons in this one. They already have a playoff spot locked and probably a top 2 seed...might as well hope all the potential wild carders lose.

IMO getting rid of Babin is a sign that its going to be a big house cleaning.

I really do feel bad for Alex Smith. I know the in thing is to bash him but he was never bad. In fact going back to 2009 he's been solid and he led his team to just outside the SB last year. Seems like the team always wanted Kaepernick, and they seem to play so much better with him there. All Smith did was be a very efficient QB and led his team to success, he gets injured (not his fault of course) and boom he's on the way out....sad Aw yeah! Thank god for the Saints poor defense. Michael Turner finally getting me a good fantasy game! I need it, everyone I start has been flopping

Pretty sweet game. Tough to be sold on Ryan...he's a very good QB when all is smooth, but with the pressure on he rarely seems to impress (or do much at all). Champs are made under pressure, and Matty Ice looks as good as the crappy beer he's nicknamed after! Defense can play though, and honestly it looked like 2 of those 5 were Brees'...just some hardcore balling on the Falcons D. Saints didn't do badly either, torrents of pressure and did enough in coverage. I love when an expected shootout is a defensive struggle! My game MVP: Matt Bryant!

^ Oy! well that seems quite unexpected. A shame. Heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the Chiefs and his (and her) family and friends. RIP

IDK Dennis Moore, the brutal second half last year was supposed to the be the Giants downfall... Anywho, some great teams ahead but the Packers just aren't quite the same. The Redskins still have no one outside of RG3, the Saints and Falcons are the most worrisome, the Ravens just keep giving you a "meh" feeling and the Eagles are toast. I'm not scared by the paper! I think it's not unrealistic to say the Giants can win 4 of the next 6.

Hey dude, Big time congrats on beating the Packers, you guys clowned them! Big game between my Skins & your Giants on Monday nite. I am shocked the Redskins won on Thanksgiving, but again the Cowboys are decimated by injuries. Redskins match up well against you guys. It should be a good game.

That Kansas City news was crazy. We'll never know what exactly was going on but we tend to think of these guys like super human, thanks to their gift as well their status, but they are just humans like us...and feel pressure (mountains of it) have to live with a lot of money, which I really don't think is an easy thing. They have issues like we do which probably get magnified in their life. Some who are mentally weaker can snap easily, very sad

GREAT game against the Pack but I like to stay in reality, I can not trust that defense until they do it more consistently. At least the offense is on track, and I believe the Skins still have a very poor pass defense (441 from Romo). Last game you played us we were in a slump, so we'll see. As MWH and I have been saying, it's the Giants....we can lose this game 44-3. Then come back and shutout the Saints. And I feel less impressed with the Falcons every week. I'm saying it now, this schedule isn't as bad as it seems. SB run #3?

Are they actually benching Sanchez? And going to put in the true back up QB, not that pastor trying to be a QB??

I almost hope the Rams & Niners game ends in this tie. Though I'd like the rams to win it outright.

Adrian Peterson is a freak of nature. Nothing against Peyton but we expected him to be great, assuming he was healthy, AP's year after a huge knee injury..this is comeback player of the year and then some.

For me, he made up for Brees' horrible Thur. night performance.

That Rams game was incredible, one of the most exciting games I've seen in a long time. One player who played great that probably not many people noticed was Steven Jackson; he didn't rush for many yards but man, did he run hard. Some of his 1 or 2 yard runs were great achievements because most other backs would have lost yards.

Yeah, but Peyton missed an entire season and has come back in MVP form. Not to say that AP hasn't, but QB is a much tougher position to come back to form in than RB. AP has been incredible; Peyton has been legendary. Also, the Broncos are winning convincingly (whereas the Vikes aren't really winning), and a lot of the credit could be placed on Peyton's shoulders.
ause of Peyton. And another heartbreaking defeat for the Lions. I want heads to roll on that defensive coaching side. Awful, awful last 2-3 minutes.
