This review, published some short period of time after the album was released, is apparently based on a leak that was around before the album was released, which did not contain the two last songs, had a much darker/rawer mix to it and sounded (just as the reviewer put it) a more aggressive, meaner sound to it.

Moreover, it did not have, as I mentioned, the two last songs: Best of Times and Count of Tuscany; the former has an obvious Rush twist to it and the second sounds very much like the "traditional" Dream Theater.

The first time I did it was more detailed because I could get my hands on the leak, but it eventually disappeared as the album became available.

Has this come to any fruition?

Why?

I looked at the profile: Marina (nice female name), from Russia, high ratings for some Russian and not only Russian albums. I see no evil.

Just odd that there's all these ratings in just one day since the account was created. Seems to be the common MO for rating spammers.

How your arguments could be proved? We don't know whether he listened the album with or without two songs.
And what  fruition you expect?

IMO nice, humorous review. Much better than yours "Felona e Sorona"Tongue

About 20 ratings in total, not that much. My cat heard much more albums.

The only problem I see is that she probably hasn't read the definitions of the ratings carefully enough, but she's rating albums she likes (3 stars is her minimum) and it seems she has really listened to them.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Well, I don't have the proof anymore because the file containing the leak, but the review speaks against itself if you listen to the album. He said the album has no Rush influences, for example, but the song The Best of Times are overflowing with them!

And the fruition would be its deletion.

Perhaps you hear Rush influences but the reviewer does not. Not a reason for killing the beast.

The Italians could be back. Ha!
http://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=43602
http://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=43600
Multiple meaningless sudden ratings from both of them.
They also affected Oceans architecture quite badly.
Interesting to note that Joe and his mum from Oceans Architecture clearly decided not to remove the meaningless rating that his mum gave Corvus Stone tho(even tho he promised here that he would). I find that sad from a 3 star member.
Nevertheless,  they will be happy if you fix the two I just listed.

Sorry Colin, those two are unrelated and not Italian - no foul play, just not necessarily fair play. They stay

SBD has fixed the rating for Corvus Stone. Thank you!!
Sorry that the recent 2star ratings I noticed can't be fixed Joe. I just don't understand why people do that. Still.. people upload music and movies for the world every day. Logic doesn't play any part in life. Dum di dum di dum. They may all be lawn mowers.

^I suppose him calling the average rating "offensive" could be construed as making negative comments toward other reviewers, which is prohibited according to the reviewing guidelines.

Otherwise, it just sounded like a terrible review devoid of any good content but also devoid of anything blatantly against the rules.  At least it was concise.

well, he does say the music flits around quite a bit and has no cohesion.  So there is some attempt at explaining himself.  I think it should stay because he doesn't pick on an individual reviewer, but it takes a lot of nerve to come on here, post a first review that degrades a well known and respected album, and then refer to the ratings of others as disgusting.  He may not realize that his review probably didn't move the overall rating of TB by more than 0.01

Glad that someone who actually listened to the album agrees. Smile
