You act like San Diego hasn't been the worst team in the league since Norv Turner took over the team.

Rivers is so over rated. But today I expected more out Charlie Batch. Although every running back fumbled at least once and Batch with 3 picks you should lose.

Wow. So after playing like sh*t for 4 weeks, the G Men came out looking like SB champs, Shocked
Pwnd the Packers on offense, defense, and ST.
Eli and Co are back on track, the run game was great. So glad to see Nicks is officially back from injury. Watch out defenses!

Speaking of, finally some pressure! They were raining down on Rodgers. If he wasn't so mobile he would've been sacked a bunch more times.
Most infuriating...the coverage looked great! IDK why the same guys can look like trash then shut down the Packers. Kenny Phillips returning was huge but I cant believe 1 guy can cause a magical turnaround. I'm not gunna expect repeat performances like this on defense, but god I'm hoping.

Edit: oh and congrats to Eli, who's now thrown more TDs than any other Giants QB.

Rivers is a very good QB. He has a team that has progressively been getting worse (both around him on offense and defense) and his o line is very poor. That's not exactly a formula for success.

I have noticed a lot of fans seem to have fetishes (or at least over rate) their back ups. It pains me to say, but generally coaches know what they are doingLOL Batch is the 3rd string for a reason. Anyone can have a good game but, well when you are down to Charlie Batch I wouldn't expect much.

Edit: Awesome to see San Fran win! Holding the saints to 21 in their happy lil dome? Proof that defense can always triumph.
The Ravens really aren't good, but you'd have to be on mescaline to think they aren't much better than the Chargers. They suck.
Atlanta escapes with another win. What a week!

Well down Browns. Almost makes up for last week. And damn those Chargers are piss. 4th & 29?! With a checkdown?!!? God. Hopefully this brings about some wholesale changes (coughGMcough).

But whoooooo Gmen! Expected a shootout, got a trouncing. Never thought the giants could keep the pack to under 2 touchdowns worth of points. Good to see the pressure arrive, esp against one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the league. Hopefully they don't come out with one of those classic giant fails next week at Washington.

I mean....its kinda lame, you throw a dink on a 4th & 29 and 7 chargers miss?? Plus one borderline illegal block lol but it is what it is. Ravens have another W  which will make their fall even bigger. Oh MWH im sure well blow it against the redskins. I mean, division rival and its before week 17...why would the giants win? Lol

Agree, he is 3rd for a reason, I just did not expect Batch to throw 3 picks!  The whole offense sucked.

Rivers is good, just over rated to me, I don't think he puts in a lot of preparation, but that may the culture of the Chargers in its current regime.

Oh, the G-men.....Wow, Rodgers was doing discount double time running for his life last nightSmile.  Eli, congrats for the Giants record.

Yeah Giants looked really impressive last night. With the Texans defense struggling recently, the Niners and the Giants look like they might be better teams at the moment.

Personally I think if he keeps it up he should be suspended for a large chunk of games or for a whole season.

We don't have a great offensive line and our defense is banged up and loaded with back ups.For those reasons,I think they have been lucky to win as many as they have.I'll tell you though that the love for Flacco in this town is starting to wane, with myself included.I just don't think he has what it takes to be an elite QB in the league. He might do better with a good OL and OC,because Cameron is horrible.

I could point out that we won a SB playing old fashioned smash mouth football, but you need a good defense to do that and for the first time in a long time ours isn't.

He should have been suspended for stomping on the face of GB's Olineman last season for at least 6 games in my opinion. Throwing a punch is one thing, but stomping on a defenseless player's head is something you don't even do in a street fight.

I didn't think the hit was out of line, or borderline. But it was some pretty bad defense all around.

And oh, I'd not be surprised with a massive failure outing by the gmen next week. Giant speciality...big win no one expected, get everyone on their side, then flop magnificantly.

You haven't been in many street fights, have you?

But yeah, re: this incident, I think it's a total crock of sh*t. Suh is not a psychic ninja. He does not have the power of The Force to direct his foot toward the QB's crotch. At worst, he was attempting to trip the QB by dropping his leg in front of him, which is a penalty but not noteworthy at all (as it happens much more frequently than it gets called). If it were anyone but Suh in this situation, this wouldn't be an issue at all.

Norv is terrible.  Have no idea why they fired someone because he couldn' win playoff games only to hire someone who can't win playoff or regular season games.  That said, even the worst team in football should be able to stop a 4th and 29... especially when the ball only travels 7 yards in the air on said play.  When the score 10-0 San Diego kept running accross the bottom of the screen I told my father: "That's the kind of game Baltimore always wins and Sand Diego always loses".

The key difference between the Steelers and Ravens is that the Ravens always seem to win the games they are supposed to lose (Sand Diego, Cleveland, Dallas) and the Steelers always seem to give away the games they are suppsed to win (Oakland, Tennessee, Baltimore, Cleveland).  It's frustrating to watch the Steelers suddenly playing the best defense they have in years only to watch it be completely meaningless because of one or two mistakes the a backup QB behind a makeshift OL (of course, when's the last time the Steelers didn't have a makeshift line?  I wonder if it's something in the training... maybe the water?) can't overcome, like turnovers deep in our own territory, a punt return, or a terrible no-fumble call (Farrior scores the winning TD if they refs hadn't stopped paying attention to the game).

Time always wins.

Also don't forget about the gamma ray burst.
You heard right?
There was a gamma ray burst yesterday and all the particles collected over Western PA. The yellow was a natural attraction and these particles produced an anti gravity force on the yellow jerseys...that's why the ball kept flying away from the Steelers!

Why not?
I heard there was a conspiracy flying around yinser nation that Ben was faking the injury so he could be discreetly off the field for his coming baby.

I'll be shocked if the Eagles win another game this year.

It's hard to see how they beat any of the remaining teams on the schedule save for said teams having an atrocious game, which of course is always possible.

Yeah. Which means that they have a shot against Dallas who are no stranger to becoming suddenly atrocious.
