I'm just not enthused by any team this year. Particularly in the AFC.

I will be very thankful, if both the Cowboys and Pats lose! IDK Dennis Moore, the brutal second half last year was supposed to the be the Giants downfall... Anywho, some great teams ahead but the Packers just aren't quite the same. The Redskins still have no one outside of RG3, the Saints and Falcons are the most worrisome, the Ravens just keep giving you a "meh" feeling and the Eagles are toast. I'm not scared by the paper! I think it's not unrealistic to say the Giants can win 4 of the next 6. I do think Eli and co. will got the offense back on track, the complete lack of defense is my concern. But they have gone from sh*t to 85 Bears before. Gotta pray it happens again Edit: I forgot! Kenny Phillips is coming back, if he can play at his normal level it will be a big help. Solid safety, and we need all the help possible.

Jody pick your poison, maybe you can have Kevin Gilbride who believes it's fine to go 20 yards, every play regardless of the situation Except he always runs on every 2nd down...what a whack job!

It's pretty weak this year, which of course is good for you and bad for us since the Pats could have another easy road deep into the playoffs (thank god Tebow isn't around to give em another guaranteed win) Crazy things may happen but I still will be shocked if the AFC game isn't Texans/Broncos. With Denver taking it. NFC is gunna be fun. Lots of very good teams, maybe none great, flaws with all. Epic finale ensues. Hell, even the Saints can go on a tear and sneak in the playoffs, which when you're in we know all bets are off.

How about that play not being whistled dead when a knee was clearly down?Free td for the Texans.

Well...this has been unexpected I expect some crazy things to go down in these Jets/Pats games but this has been something else. 3 fumbles in a row, and 2 for TDs. Ugly with a capital U.

Fixed. And yeah, I was raging over that. And then I was screaming over the Lions play-calling in overtime since all they would do was pass pass pass. And then the missed FG. Ugh.

The announcer said it best:
"Patriots fans have to be disappointed: that's the first play in the second quarter they haven't scored a touchdown on."

How often do you see the QB run into a huge butt of his own lineman nearly concussing himself and fumbling in which the other team scores?
That was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while when Sanchez did that.

Sanchez actually had a decent game overall, rare for him, but they never had any chance. Despite the flak I give him I do feel for the guy, being on such a poor team, with management that seems to hate him, and despite it all he's never once said a bad word and been a class act.
He really is OK, a "game manager" Sanchez on the 49ers for example and he'd be fine. Anywho great games until that last one and Cowboys lose!!! AW YEAH!

Every home team lost today. And as much as I can't stand Romo and the 'Boys, that's just depressing.

I'm by no means a Jet hater or a Pat lover, but damn...I can watch those 53 seconds with 3 touchdowns over and over and over again. So loltastic. Great play by the 'skins. Payback for all that winning they did against the browns in my mind. And what a horrible rule (referring to the lions game). Though JS should have known about it, esp since it just happen to come into play this sunday in the Falcons game. But at the end of the game just couldn't make the plays when it counted. But still...I hope they change that rule after this season.

Yeah they were talking about how Wilfork "picked up the guy and threw him back into the QB" all game long. Even well after it, and how he was such a force (basically from that one play) yet as you said....all Wilfork did was hold his ground and Sanchez ran into him. Le sigh...announcers!
It's very very rare I ever lay blame for an outcome on the refs, since so much other stuff happens, and the Lions had other opportunities to win, but the refs did screw em on a few bad calls. And the rule is the rule but the illegal flag thing really is dumb. And my boy Suh had a monster game, complete with yet another controversy...at least he's learning to make it more subtle now!

I laughed when I saw that kick to the nuts, but I'm sure Schaub felt differently.

Jesus. The refs just completely blew that call (or rather, blew that early whistle) on that Bengals fumble. While they got a huge break there, the refs just cost the Raiders a touchdown and a chance to get back in this game. Absolutely terrible call.
And of course, on the next play, they start getting cheeky with each other. Talk about venting your frustration.

Scratch that, when I say cheeky, I mean there was a true throwdown and 3 players (Whitworth for the Bengals, and 2 Raiders) were ejected. That entire sequence was absolutely terrible. And the Bengals come back from that by A.J. Green catching a bomb down the field in double coverage. This game just got really weird.

Tomlin can't continue to coach this team if the Steelers are going to have a real future. He can't get one of the oldest teams in the league to show any discipline or fundamentals. They have absolutely never shown up to play against these bad teams during his tenure. Wallace hasn't bothered trying for several games now, the running backs don't bother protecting the ball, and while the defense kept them alive today they can't create turnovers (outside Timmons). Also, Baltimore lucks their way to another victory while playing like the sh*tty team they are. I've never seen one team be so lucky for so long. All San Diego has to do is not give up 29 yards on a 4th down when the Birdies below average QB makes the only play in his career he's shown he knows how to: a 7 yard dump pass to his RB. How that team keeps stumbling to these kind of wins is beyond me and makes football increasingly more sickening to watch.
