wow, not much to say about that one, giants sucked. Worried how that offense is sputtering now. Besides one good drive we did nothing. Eli threw into triple coverage and again that play calling at critical times is just mind boggling. Really can't say they deserved to win this one.

Whew! Somehow the Steelers pulled it out. Good game JJL, we needed it more to keep pace with Ravens. I scratched my head on a few of those calls, but it will always happen....
Yoi! and Double Yoi!!.....MoM, does that ring any bells up there in western Pa?
Nah we were horribly outmatched, like I said that was a bad call so we really should've had 7 less points still. I mean yikes, that first half I think most of our progress was penalties And the third game now where the offense is really floundering, very concerning.
What calls were head scratchers? The giants? Dude our OC is a lunatic. He goes for the bomb when it really makes no sense, he's hideously conservative when they need to be aggressive, sometime we just dont know what hes thinking. I love Eli much as anyone but can't always go for the deep ball...and he still runs it on almost every second down
Well least the Redskins lost, hoping Dallas and Philly go down, at least this poor game ends up a wash then.

Mainly the ref calls for the fumble and the hit in the end zone which gave the Gmen 1rst and goal. I know about the OC. The Steelers are getting used to our new one. The good thing is Ben is getting rid of the ball quicker and taking less hits.
Our D came to play and the DBs have improved since Troy left hurt.
Ah, yeah sadly it's part of the game we have to accept, bad calls are something that needs to be brushed off and just keep playing on, which the Steelers did.
other news: 51-20 Bears!? A Rod is still the best QB in the NFL, 251 yards and 4 TDs from Doug Martin. Insane! Not as insane as the Lions winning with their run game...another awesome week, with 2 more good games yet to finish/be played.

I'm just happy my Lions made it back to .500 with the season at the halfway point. They may already have too many losses to contend for the playoffs, but they're definitely fighting strong right now.

I literally just saw the highlights of the game. Road tripped it to Akron to see Ian Anderson and got out of radio range right after the awful personal foul call (the radio guys were incensed by both that and the pass interference call earlier in that drive, which I've yet to see) which gave the Giants their first TD. Was relying on texts from my father to keep me posted. Got the good news a few minutes before the concert started so it was a great night for me, all around. Seems like the refs might have been taking pity on NY, after the hurricane, as it seems hard to believe they could've been that bad. Before the game I saw GODell making sure to get himself on tv shaking hands with first responders and knew his attendence could spell problems for the Steelers defense. It could have been the reason for the silly call against Ryan Clark and I imagine Harrison had to be walking on egg shells during the game. Happy with the win and the continued dominance of the Steelers' running game! (Exclaimation point for the existence of a running game in Pittsburgh. Seems like it's been forever.) Did I ever mention I really like Todd Haley?
The Steelers had the bad habit to repeatedly take penalties in their pass coverage, and i have to say that there was a couple of bad calls from the ref. The Giants never get the rhythm with their offense but turnovers keep them in the game. I am glad that the Steelers won this one because it didn't look good before the 4th quarter.
Music is the refuge of souls ulcerated by happiness.
Don't get toooo happy MoM....The Giants defense after all I'll admit, while our D sucks they are clutch...always a sack, pick or fumble at just the right time, even if they do nothing else. Can't maintain that forever though, and I think the faith/gamble, always go for the deep pass offense we've been running was also a time bomb. Sadly the Giants were heading for this loss and it finally whacked em. Colonel Coughlin needs to whip em into shape fast.
At least the Skins and Boys lost. If the Eagles go down, then the Giants loss never happened and thank god it happened against an AFC team. Speaking of the Eagles, yikes! I like seeing Vick get pummeled but this is almost getting painful to watch.
Edit: Oh, this may not seem like a big deal but MWH will get me. David Diehl came back against the Steelers. The guys at PFF rated him the worst Tackle AND Guard in the NFL in 2011. He played two spots, and was the worst at both Sure enough, he was letting people by like a turnstile. The Giants have no problem cutting anyone, even vets but they keep that POS around
Hey if ya saw my comment, well I'll just make sure:

I admit that call was bullsh*t, bens arm was going forward. That was incomplete not a fumble.
Trust me, few Giants fans there really thought otherwise. Sometimes the bad ref calls hurt you, sometimes they help! Seriously, it does pain me..the big blue wrecking crew? Man, the small blue knitting crew is more like it. OK that sucked but I have a headache and am woozy from gas fumes from 2 hour lines. Cut me some slack!
IDK if the Eagles or Saints want to win this game. They aren't looking like it!

Thank god the nfc east is full of underperforming pissfactories. Makes up for almost all the terribleness from the giants game.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Well...you hate to gripe when you win but the gmen have had their problems and it was bound to come to light. O line has failed (ever since Diehl came back) Eli fail, defense started off sh*t, though tough to always be in their bad position. Just wow.
I've never, even in his rookie year, seen Eli in such a funk
