Oh, and I got to talk to Steve Hackett after the concert both times. He appeared to enjoy talking with his fans. Very class act.

I don't think I'll see King Crimson ever really.
It is theoretically possible to see VdGG, but since I'm from Serbia (they're not very popular there) and I'm only 16, chances are very VERY slim. In other words, impossible.
Rush isn't really my top top band, but I'd like to see them, which would be more possible since they are big. But I don't think they would come here...

I'm probably never gonna see Pink Floyd, and if I do, it's impossible for it to be what I consider the real Pink Floyd. Anything with Waters and Gilmour on the same stage would be magnificent, though...
I missed Roger Waters performing DSotM on Roskilde Festival some years ago, I really hate my drinking habbits on festivals for it.
I've seen Roger Waters perform The Wall and it was amazing. I've also seen a danish tribute band called, in its glorious innovation, The Pink Floyd Project, which totally kicked ass... It was about 100$ for a ticket, but it was really worth it... I guess I've had a little Pink Floyd live experience, which I'm grateful for. |

I've seen Devin Townsend and Jethro Tull live, they're two of my all time favourites. Super happy I went to JT especially.

I am happy to say that I've seen Iron Maiden live at the height of their most proggiest endeavors. Certainly seeing DANCE OF DEATH and onward. Missed out on the BRAVE NEW WORLD TOUR.

Yeah, I saw Van der Graaf Genrator (first row seat), Jethro Tull (twice), Dream Theater (three times), Yes (in the "Classic" line-up), and Rush
I have not seen Genesis, but to make up for it I saw the Muscial Box three times as well as Steve Hackett.
Unfortunately I did not see Transatlantic or Spock´s Beard, something would love to have done

I saw Rush in the spring of 1977 (A Farewell To Kings tour) It was quite something!

I saw the Brit Floyd tribute show last Friday at Red Rocks. They sounded great (almost exactly like the Floyd, seriously!), and they played my all time favorite Floyd/prog/overall song (Echoes!) as well. Great show, cheap tickets, great seats, and an amazing night of Pink Floyd music from this great tribute.

Rush a few times. Jethro Tull Fish era Marillion Hawkwind (Black Sword tour not my fave artist but show was incredible, Moorcock reading poems and Elric on stage haha)

Would have loved to have seen Marillion live with Fish. I was only 8 though when Clutching The Straws was released. Didnt have that chance. :(

Saw ELP with the Orchestra in NYC, and then up the same or next year in Syracuse without it. Also saw them in the 90s, and with Powell in 1987. Saw Genesis, I think it was 1981, and Gabriel, around 1980, Peter Hammill twice in NYC around that time, and Yes on the Tormato Tour. Saw UK at the Danger Money tour and King Crimson on the Discipline tour, and Fripp do a soundscapes thing at the Kitchen in NYC around 1980. I saw the Christian Vander Trio in Vancouver around 1995.

Rush is my favorite band of all time, and I'm lucky that I got to see them in Columbus, OH in 2010 (Time Machine Tour) and this year (Clockwork Angels).
I saw Dream Theater this year as well, with the Crimson ProjecKt opening up for them.
I hope I can catch Spock's Beard, the Flower Kings, Echolyn, or Devin Townsend on a tour someday. This is music I NEED to see live before I get old like everyone else on here  |
