How do they deserve loses when they outplayed both their opponents? Vick looked fine in this game. He threw one bad INT. Aside from that he did what he needed to do against a good defense.

Vick threw the game losing INT in both games, the defender just couldn't catch them. He's looked bad and I'm not sure how you can argue otherwise. Maybe they didn't deserve loses (their opponents deserved them more) but they can't squeak by forever and it's a damn good thing they are in the NFC East (call it parity but you just know every team in the division is going to be hovering around .500 late in the season). Anyway, Philly won a World Series, a few years ago, so can't you guys just be content with that and slink back into the sporting abyss, where you belong?

Not sure I remember the game losing INT in this Ravens game. You can say that about the Browns, but Wheeden also threw one dropped INT in the Browns game.
I can say that Vick looked good in this Ravens game. He mostly made good decisions and his throws were accurate. He ran at intelligent times. He wasn't great. I'm not being delusional. He didn't play well enough to win a Superbowl. That's fine for right now though.

As a Steelers guy, I thank the Eagles for bringing the Ravens back to earth. I am still amazed that in 2 games, the Eagles have still won with 9 turnovers, but winning ugly is still winning. I still would be concerned over Vick's health as he took a lot of hits today. We did ground the Jets today, the defense played well with out a few starters.

Did you guys see Ed Celek jump right over Ed Reed!? That was an incredible move, and on one of the best defenders in the league!
Glad to see the Rams finally win a game; it got pretty crazy at the end with all the turnovers and questionable calls. Sam Bradford played great; I hope that's a sign of things to come.

Yes, the "hurdle" move seems to be making a comeback as I have seen that a few times over the past week, including college. Agree, Bradford looked good and I have always liked Fischer(sp?) as a coach.

Yeah...while it was a great offensive victory for Sanchez safe to say the Bills are not the Steelers....and against said Steelers he looked an awful lot like the Sanchez we all know and love!
Bradford was always good. Well, he was solid, but he was a fine QB...it's just the Rams may have been the most talentless team there was.
Was looking forward to the Niners/Lions game and it's been a bit of a letdown. Why are the Lions running so much??
Edit: Well OK, the lions only have one weapon and Stafford has a tendency to blindly throw towards megatron but still!

What I found nice about it, aside from the fact that Celek isn't the most mobile guy in the world, is that Reed didn't even go low to make the tackle. He went at his waist, and Celek still cleared him. I'm not a fan of the hurdle though when it's not needed to a first down. You really leave yourself defenseless and open to an injury or fumble.

The Lions are still incapable of playing outdoors. Especially in windy conditions.
New England eliminated me and about 75% of our football pool in the "survivor" portion of our pool. I hate getting eliminated in the 2nd week on that.  I initially clicked on Cincinnati as my guaranteed victory for this week. I seriously considered taking the Niners because I don't believe that the Lions have ever actually won a game on the West Coast during my lifetime (maybe Arizona?). In the end I decided to go with the "sure thing". New England was the only team favored by double digits this weekend. Oh well.

Yeah, but it seems like something else to me. I obviously have no information, and I'm just wildly speculating. I see him dropping to a 3/4 arm slot more than I recall in the past, and him sailing his throws makes me think he harboring some sort of shoulder injury.

They said that it was really windy there (no surprises). He may have been trying to throw threw the wind that way. There hasn't been any word here about him having a sore shoulder, but that doesn't mean anything.

Speaking of looking off, Manning just has no arm strength. Must be hard for him to have to adjust to that.

Missed the start, and first pick, but that third one was deff a poor throw.
Maybe the adrenaline pumped him through game 1? His arm was perfectly fine.
We shall see, but a rough first quarter to be mild...
