I challenge Gazzardian with Mei, Battleaxe, Leather Armor in the Standard Arena

Don't know if to buy another gladiator (Apercu) or a shield.

New warriors for sale: Akakabotu, Tessitura, and Jordrök.

New weapons for sale: Quarterstaff and Great Axe.

All items have been replenished in the marketplace.

And there is a new champion, Deadwing!

Also, two new combat modes:

Ranged. These items provide a one-time use (i.e., they are disposable) that enable a warrior to attack an opponent once before melee combat ensues. A warrior may throw a javelin or throwing ax at an approaching warrior. Ranged attacks may occur only once and have an attack penalty attached to them. For value, they are sold in packs of two (though only one may be used per battle).

There is a new weapon proficiency: Dual-Wielding. Dual-Wielding enables a warrior to use two one-handed weapons at once. This gives the warrior two attacks instead of one! However, the primary attack (first weapon named in the challenge post) will suffer from a -2 penalty, while the secondary attack (second weapon named in the challenge post) will suffer from a -4 penalty. A warrior must have a DW +1 to use this method and the base penalties apply then. For each WP increase, both penalties diminish by one.
