It's counterintuitive, I know.
If you are 2:5 to win, then the odds are in your favor. Think of it this way: "My odds at the lottery are a million to one!"
A million to one is poor odds. Two to five is pretty good.

Oh, right. I was thinking "I win 2 out of every 5 matches" kind of thing.

Any bids on the Dunkirk / Ommadawn match? I'm going to watch a TV program, so feel free to make bids, challenges and buy things. Two champions are still available to fight...more shall come...

I never use odds but I always use percentages as decimals and fractions, so my brain is not doing a good job at all of parsing these numbers.

Rob; - does Xanadu gain winnings and points? - can players 'help' fellow players by loaning fighters, equipment, etc? - I assume winnings are nontranferrable, e.g. you cannot trade 10 gold for a Training point

| - Champions gain nothing. They are what they are as long as they are champions.
-You can do whatever you want with your money and property. Just do it in bold.
- Training points must be spent on the character that won.

Match 8
Dunkirk (Halberd) vs Ommadawn (Spear) - 2:5
11/3 = 10 damage to Ommadawn (7)
14/16
(20)/5 = 8 damage to Ommadawn (-1)
Ommadawn nearly perished in the arena today. Dunkirk and his powerful new halberd was too much for Ommadawn's meager spear.

Sorry smartpatrol, your bet of one gold was not enough to earn you any return.

First, With my training point I'd like to increase my Constitution by 3 points
And then accept David's challenge using Dunkirk and my Halberd
This will be interesting.
