^I don't think the Inquisition or the Crusades appear in the bible.

^Haha- well, the Bible was used to fuel those things. Therefore, I cannot completely trust it.

A toss up between XTC's The Church Of Women, and Secular Humanism. Tongue

Also, there is this:

 Marc Perkel's Church

If it's Real - we believe in it!

Clearly math.

Why clearly?
Because you can work it out with a pencil.

And it actually describes the universe accurately.

So, using math and math only, you can actually find out how to prevent people from getting into hot and pointless debates, right?

What about science (in general) ? If you had to choose between science and just math (like what's Christianity to Eastern Orthodox), which (ahem) religion would you pick?

People say that Catcher in the Rye helped fuel John Lennon's murder. In reality, its just whiny and meandering. I think I would've liked it more if it HAD been as subversive and powerful as to truly influence the assassination of someone I admire.

I think Charlie Manson once claimed that his inspiration was The Beatles' song Helter Skelter. I could be wrong, but hey! Contriving war from the bible is easy, but it'd be just as easy as using Green Eggs and Ham to to support nuclear mass-murder in another society. The Cat in the Hat supports chaos, rage, dissonance, disobeying authority and other such nonsense. Hey - 'Chaos, Rage, Dissonance, Disobeying Authority, and Other Such Nonsense, Dr. Seuss' biography. Now available in hardback for 19.99'.

By Lester Bangs' twin brother.

I always thought it was a bit egotistical to have one god taking care of anything myself.
Also, Poseidon

My virginity. It wasn’t worth much anyway.

Yes it was. I'm pretty sure virgins are most expensive at the brothels.

Me personally? I enjoy math more. Both are pretty worthless without the other part. I mean they're essentially the same thing. I would take math.

I was in that same bet, except I won...I gained a second virginity. That was a pain in the ass.

Glad the atheists seem to have made a comeback, I thought Christianity was gunna win and how bland would that have been?

JJL: You can probably add people choosing Jedi, Satanism, 42 etc to the atheist (or at least agnostic) pile, in which case Christianity falls way back.

Your forgetting New Age religion....every religion ever conceived and conceivable is one big non-contradictory religion, Buddah groovin with Jehovah, cooling it with the Mother Goddess, while they listen to the skat of Shiva and the beat boxing of Baal.

I believe I did not state my answer: atheism. I just don't have a reason to believe in any god or God whatsoever.

That is a good way to describe my views as well.  Extremely agnostic.  I like that. Big smile
