Anyone who picks the prequels should be shot. This isn't even a question.

And you were wrong. You will be sent to a camp for retraining. |

ELP's "Trilogy"
Though I like the originals (4-6) as well.

The originals may be slow, but I prefer that to the nonsensical action and characters from the newer movies.

there is no 'Star Wars Trilogy', just one long epic which works fine despite some very annoying moments

Fixes for the double trilogy:
I. Kill Jar Jar. Replace the actor playing child Anakin. Make Darth Maul more of an actual living danger. II. Kill the two seconds of Jar Jar. Tell Samuel Jackson to remember that he's a good actor. Give acting lessons to Hayden Christensen. Remind Natalie Portman that she is also a good actress. Give more screen time to Master Crhistopher Lee. III. Kill the one second of Jar Jar. Do everything you did for II. IV. Re-shoot. Or write more of a story. Make the supposedly climatic battle between Obi Wan and Vader alittle more climatic. Teach most actors how to act. V. Just some acting lessons and maybe some more story. VI. Re-shoot. Or add a TON of story.

Obviously the original, Harry Plinkett's reviews of the prequels are far more entertaining than movies themselves.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE HOLIDAY SPECIAL? It's so good that it's painful to watch.

VII. Make sure George Lucas takes his meds. He must have been delusional when he came up with Jar Jar.

With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince.
With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with. |

I would definitely vote for the Prequels easily, although George I know likes to make so many changes to the originals that it's harder to enjoy as a result.
