I've never had it and I"m not saying it's not great, but I know it's not as good as a cheesesteak. It looks delicious though if I imagine egg instead of tomato.

I always take the tomato off after I get it.  Always thought they added a weird texture, with there disguisting moisture, to sandwiches/burgers.

You know... somebody should probably just make a sandwich thread

Could be dangerous for our waistlines.

Don't know the source of this, but here's some people trying to request complaint forms from police officers. I found it funny.

The existence of those complaint forms would (if processed) triple the need for paid vacations....

I had a feeling it would be Primanti's the moment I started reading your post.
They are pretty brilliantly delicious. My favorite was the grilled pastrami.
However, I shall counter with our own local monstrosity (while others have opened up the first was at Rutgers): The Fat Sandwich

This one is the classic "the fat bitch": cheesesteak, chicken, stuffed with fries.

NYPD Spying on Muslims in NJ?

There's so much government abuse here. You have the government spying on private citizens without a warrant and without any cause besides their religion. The agents doing the spying were from the NYPD and the CIA, neither of whom have any lawful jurisdiction in NJ. Then the spying was caught by the FBI (I assume involved because of suspected terrorism? Don't understand their involvement.) and NJ police officers who raided the complex.... without a warrant.

Things are out of control.

We're invited to the party. We're the ones being violated through the whole ordeal.

It seems like a good news day. I've barely gotten any work done thank god. Apparently, the US has been using armed drones in the Philippines which has some Filipinos a bit peeved. I find the use of armed drones in a friendly nation to be just disgusting, but their argument seems to be an encroachment of their sovereignty. Not sure why they're shocked given our history with them, but what exactly is the US enabled to do concerning military action on the soil of its protectorates? Anyone know to save me the trouble of researching it?

Well yes, but that's no fun.

No idea. That never even entered my head, partially because it doesn't matter who/what you are the US will waltz on in anyway.

Heh, there's like 2 or 3 helicopters hovering around the general area. Wonder if that's the NYPD spying on all those damn dirty Muslims! They got the wrong area...there's only Indians around here tsk tsk can't even spy correctly!

I kind of lold though at Christie saying stuff like the NYPD thinks their jurisdiction is the world and they police the universe, and I assume he's being a little witty
buttt my brother was saying he heard the NYPD (or NYC itself) has the ability to shoot down planes.
Maybe they really are hoping to become their own force!

"Socialists want socialism for everyone else, but capitalism for themselves, while capitalists want capitalism for everyone else, but socialism for themselves."

That is pretty damn accurate.

I usually here just the last part but it is true almost every socialist government seems to have nooo problemo accumulating wealth for themselves at the top and be free from limits they put on the populace.

Me too, but you didn't read that in the article.

Police are becoming more and more militarized. Some are purchasing tanks, and yes the NYPD is essentially a military force at this time.

I also hate when people pick one sentence of an article to dismiss it and totally ignore the actual point behind the rest, whether they agree with it or not.

So that agrees with my belief that a law is an infringement on freedom! And Pat didn't agree tsk tsk tsk
Needless to say while those are laws...of course not many are enforced or even could be.

Such as #4, 5, 10, 11 (though I agree you shouldn't give alcohol to a moose) 13 (clearly not enforced well!LOL)

I'll admit, why even make a ridiculous law? Especially when you know it won't/can't be enforced
Also #1 is a scary thought AND I could see it happening with how crazy smoking laws have become.

1) Proposed. Probably wouldn't stand up in court.
2) Bizarre. Could make public health/safety justification, though.
3) Most trains have engines on both ends. Stopping at the wrong end could be... unhealthy. Rules like this generally exist as a result of specific incidents that resulted in fatalities.
4) Think we had this debate before.
5) Crossed state lines to sell, in fact. Was told to stop, so he tried some absurd plan to get around it. Not nearly so innocent.
6) Nonsense local laws.
7) Specific solution to specific problem. People hawking tours of something they actually know nothing about at the government's expense and not paying taxes on the revenue.
8) Hah, he's selling snake oil as a cancer cure. As far as I'm concerned, he's a f**king murderer who should rot in prison.
9) $10 fine says it's something that's ancient and existed probably to combat people defacing the cans to hide information or to advertize to an unwitting audience.
10) Lol pointless laws.
11) On one hand, sort of pointless. On the other, what happened to make anyone decide this law was necessary?
12) Lol protectionism.
13) It's much narrower than the author of the linked article suggests.
14) Ha ha... no.
15) That's always been a violation of the law. It's just one that's been ignored.
16) See above. It's a duplicate.
17) Yes, it's idiotic, but parents want that kind of stupidity. That's how we know humanity is doomed: those are the dipsh*ts who procreate. Ouch
18) That was never intended with the law. The fine was issued due to someone else's complaint in the first place (yes, some a****le complained to the cops). Furthermore, the fines were returned to the violators, and last I heard, they were amending the law to fix that kind of hole. That is, Mr. Rockwell is behind the times.
19) Hard to say here. If someone is using it as a job (there are lots of blogs which are businesses), then it makes perfect sense. If it's not a business (as is clear here), then most places have appropriate exemptions. That one municipality screws things up doesn't say much about the overall state of law in the country.

Oh yeah, you know that means at some point...someone fed alcohol to a moose.
Which you really shoudn't be doing! Depending on how much that could be animal abuse (and let's be real, if you start feeding a moose booze, it's gunna be a large quantity)LOL

Yeah Teo, I DO see the point but really, it's just useless/silly laws. Back in the day we used to lol at them not get enraged.

If you wanna stick it to the man let's go on a nationwide rebellion tour of dumb laws!

Go to Kentucky and carry ice cream in your back pocket, then to Florida and fart in public after 6 PM, to North Carolina and sing off key, then up to Pennsylvania to sing in the bathtub. We'll pop over to NJ to break one of our famous laws...pumping our own gas.

Of course finishing off by funneling vodka into moose
