This is good for anyone who has Miguel Cabrera in keeper leagues (me Smile) but I still dislike Prince for being a disrespectful little sh*t to his father, a real Detroit baseball hero.

Well, maybe becoming a Tiger will help to mend the fences between him and Cecil.  Although, Cecil really hasn't had much of anything to do with the Tigers in recent years that I can recall, so probably not.

I think it's going to motivate him more in terms of breaking his father's records than bringing them back together.

Scott, if I were you, I would be skipping down the street in joy right now. Having Fielder and Cabrera back-to-back in the lineup, along with possibly the best starting pitcher in the game right now, makes the Tigers a serious playoff contender. Possibly even WS contender, but I want to see this team play some before I make up my mind on that one.

I am cautiously optimistic.  9 years is a long time though.  The Tigers probably won't get 9 great years out of him, but hopefully they get more good years than bad years out of him and his body doesn't break down like some experts are predicting that it will, because of his size.  The Tigers are certainly not going to be known for their team speed this year.

Congrats Scott this was a shock. Have i ever told you that i hate the TigersLOL. Hey being a Blue Jay fan you know we've had some battles over the years and we didn't usually come out on top.Good for Detroit though and i remember Cecil playing for the Jays way back when. Can't be great being a Brewers fan right now, especially if Braun gets a 50 game suspension to start the year. They could be in a huge hole before he gets back, but then who knows.

The Tigers are so lovable, how can you possibly hate them? CryWink  I've already got my hotel reservations for the weekend of July 29th for when the Tigers visit Toronto this year.
