You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Reminds me of a few years back when SC democrats voted for Al Greene in their primary for US senate because they thought he was the soul singer.

I think The Temptations should rule by committee government.

the Ron Paul ad he pulled attacking Huntsman for speaking Chinese to his adopted daughter is beyond contempt; I'm amazed and disappointed Paul would, or would allow, the ad to air or even be made. Bad call, Ron. Bad, bad call.

LOL! American vote rigging at its finest. Shame it's not like the olden days when you can just have someone watching you vote and stand there looking scary. We gotta be subtle now! Ya know things like that above, or have minorities "accidentally" put on felon lists in Florida and have them disenfranchised in Ohio. Oh whoops |

I think there's a difference between what States should be able to do and how the federal government should interact with the States. I do not believe that any State should be able to ban contraceptives, but if our form of government is to actually work (I do not believe it can) I do not think the federal government can override a State that does so. This should be up to the people of the State to change. |

Ron Paul didn't do it. Supposidly, Ron Paul supporters in New Hampshire did it. It's a rogue group which apparently has done nothing except put up this video. It really has nothing to do with Ron Paul. Why would Paul waste limited funds on smearing a totally irrelevant candidate? I'm not saying it's necessarily some conspiracy against Paul. It could just be some stupid supporters of his, but it still has nothing to do with Ron himself. Paul called the video disgusting and applauded Huntsman for his adoption. |

Probably is. Notice how there's fewer "I support this ad" and more "paid for the friends of..." ads.
Which is a way for a campaign to run horrible ads without supporting it or some fans who just do it themselves. Paul doesn't seem like that type anyway. Least I'd hope not. |

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but it reflects badly on his supporters, who I'd never thought of as paranoid xenophobes living in the 1950s

A) There's a strong chance the ad was made by Huntsman supporters trying desperately to help their candidate.
B) How can a presidential candidate be held responsible for every supporter? That's akin to saying the New York Yankees must be responsible for the behavior of every single fan they have nationally.

Those ads are mostly released by his PAC. This is not. It has nothing to do with the campaign. |

You mean if reflects badly on the handful of supporters who made the ad. I don't see how it reflects poorly on a supporter like me for example. |

Yeah, guilt by association is wrong, but you should have second thoughts about who you are attracting... |

Funny, I think the same way about you.
I've worked in politics, btw, and that is far from beyond reason. It is every bit as sensible to believe that supporters of Huntsman put it out, to make Paul supporters look bad, as it is Paul supporters put it out. It's a dirty game.
