Hi everyone,

Progstreaming will never slow down. You better catch up!

We have:
* CPR "Volume 4"
A compilation featuring 10 different Christian Progressive Rock-artists or bands (Iona, Farpoint, Syzygy and many others!)
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/cpr-volume-4/
* Druckfarben "Druckfarben"
Amazing debut by this new Canadian band, who I'm sure know their Gentle Giant, Spock's Beard and ELP!
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/druckfarben-druckfarben/
* John Hackett "Moonspinner"
For Flute and Guitar. Brother of Steve Hackett. Very pretty!
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/john-hackett-moonspinner/
* Casual Silence "Vertical Horizon"
Dutch band, and this will sadly be their last CD, for the band recently split.
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/casual-silence-vertical-horizon/
* The Good Hand "The Good Hand"
New Dutch band with an excellent début, high on Hawkwind-, Doors- and Velvet Underground-influences!
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/the-good-hand-the-good-hand/
* Backyards "Horizon"
Very retro-sounding project by Marc Devidal brought to you by Musea Records!
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/backyards-horizon/
* Vaiping "Industrial Workers Of The World"
Amazing Norwegian band, brought to you by Karisma Records (Airbag, Nordagust, D'Accord).
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/11/01/vaiping-industrial-workers-of-the-world/
* Accordo dei Contrari "Kublai"
Are they from Italy or secretly from Canterbury, England? Featuring Richard Sinclair (Caravan) on one track no less!
http://www.progstreaming.com/2011/10/30/accordo-dei-contrari-kublai/

Enjoy this, and check out some of the older ones too!

Hi everyone,

Today Progstreaming has these new CDs to offer. Oh, let me rephrase: one of them is ALSO a Double Vinyl:

* Subsignal - Touchstones (CD or Double Vinyl)
* Graal - Legends Never Die
* X-Panda - Flight Of Fancy
* Marco Cottarelli - Una Strana Commedia
* Spettri - Spettri

If you ever feel the need in giving Progstreaming hints, tips, suggestions or other comments, feel free to do so. Especially upcoming releases in December and January that you think we will miss out otherwise, do send it.

If you buy a CD - or in this case even a Vinyl - thanks to Progstreaming, let us know! We will always tell the band and their label, and as we are all not in for the money, we thrive on responses! They make us happy.

Next week it's all about Bandcamp, some amazing stuff there.

A surprise update this time!

We were offered to stream 3 out of the 7 CDs of the splendid box:

* Prog Exhibition - 40 anni di Musica Immaginifica (7 CD / 4 DVD)

To check out what the whole boxset looks like, go here: http://www.aereostella.it/eshop/dettaglio_prodotto.php?id=77.

These are all amazing performances, you wouldn't believe! A perfect gift (to yourself, hopefully!) for Christmas. You'll never regret buying it. And you again heard it first at Progstreaming.

Enjoy the music!

^This was my evaluation before I had heard the rest of your recent batch of progstreaming. You are spot on with respect to Charts And Maps - I like it alot (already streamed it several times). And Battle Circus is a real grower too.

All three are on my must-have list.

Autumn Chorus Hug

Terribly misleading that PA tags them as Crossover, definitely post rock, although I hear some resemblance to Moody Blues.

Also terribly misleading the album is currently rated "2".

That's easy, for Charts and Maps is absolutely for free, and Battle Circus is a 'name your price'-digital release, so you can without feeling guilty just a well put in a 0.

I agree, let's do something about that! It gets a 9 though at DPRP. As for postrock and related, check out Charts and Maps (sorry, again), Lüger and especially Sleepmakeswaves. You might also find pleasure Akt, although the artwork I think is hideous. It's again a free download by the way. Lüger a 'name your price'.

Hi all!

Today we have just one CD, but with a reason...

* Silhouette "A-Maze"

For tomorrow, the BIG December 2010-special will start. First CD will be:

* Silhouette "Moods"

Then we will have more than 30 well-known, or unknown, famous or highly underestimated, neglected albums or those that receive a lot of attention. Anyway, plenty of music for you to discover, although they're more than a year old. But who cares? The first time you'll hear it, it's NEW FOR YOU.

To celebrate this enormous special, Progstreaming will be given away a lot of prizes, exclusively for subscribers to this newsletter. So tell all your progfriends!

Now, to make room for all this, the following albums will soon disappear. So listen to some again, and decide whether or not you want to buy a copy for your own:
D'AccorD, I Treni All'Alba, Soniq Circus, Gandalf's Fist, Tune, Senior Citizens, Sounds Of The Outland, Hidden Orchestra, Jonathan Wilson, Kayak.

http://www.facebook.com/progstreaming
http://twitter.com/progstreaming

Get the newsletter, e-mail: [email protected]
Or go to the bottom of the site and fill out the form.
