Thanks!  Great service you're offering.  I've purchased many CDs based on the streaming.  There is only one album that I was planning to buy but didn't.  So, on the whole I'd say you're providing a great service to the artists.

Thanks also from me.  I've no doubt I'll be acquiring the new Proto-Kaw album now.  The Paatos album was very good too.  As was Wobbler's.

Brand me slow in the uptake, but.........

Just a small comment to this service. It seems like we have entered a new, far better era just in the front of us and this service cannot be lauded enough. I am seriously impressed !!

There is no excuses anylonger, guys ! Can we please get some more reviews now ? I just had a listen to the Runaway Totem album and the quality is good enough to do a review. An album I will buy, btw. But I will probably review the stream version too in due time.

A new era has indeed begun.

And to you Mr. Progstreaming, I have no words for you. Just Clap   Clap Clap

Wow, thanks .. Embarrassed

My Progwereld-legacy and experience will this coming weekend show: Progstreaming will have the famous ProgNL-compilation, on which Dutch bands (including e.g. Knight Area) will sing in Dutch. There are only a few hardcopies left, but maybe it will Bandcamp next.

Well, that's all great! Quite a broad taste you have!

Safe some money for December. Progstreaming will then have a special with ONLY 2010-'classics'. Yeah, Progstreaming will go one-year-back-in-time. I'm pretty sure you'll discover yet some more you haven't discovered. One of MY favourites will be included to, and here's a preview on that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRoq4AY3eyY

That's a very interesting story. I'm looking at my bank statements now, and in my present state of public service penury, let me say just how happy I am that you have joined the ranks of the pezzonovanti.

BTW - just what did this post have to do with Progstreaming?

Also a good idea. I've had the b-side Millenium couple of months ago, so this should be easy.

Tomorrow I'll have Man On Fire. I'm convinced to you will order that one too.

(found my donate-button yet? Star)

If you listen to all the featured cd's, I'm sure your wishlist will multiply by factor 10. Very bad for your wallet. Evil Smile

And, I'll have some *great* releases coming up. Mouth-watering releases in fact.

December will be even worse. Wink

Hello,

Progstreaming has uploaded 5 more cd's for you to discover:

- RanestRane "Shining
- Fuseboxx "Animated"
- Flaming Row "Elinoire"
- Cibola "Cibola Road"
- Knitting By Twilight "Weathering"

Also, this Saturday quite a lot CDs will disappear from the site. This means that this week is your last chance to listen to them, and decide if you may want to hold on to it by actually buying their products. Most of the artist featured at Progstreaming sell only a couple of 1000 CDs, if thát. Only a few break even. None of them are making a decent living out of it. So support them!

This is what will vanish, from the bottom of Progstreaming:

- Mandrake Project "Transitions" (brilliant chamberpop, for Gazpacho ánd The Arcade Fire-fans)
- Nicklas Barker "El Ultimo Fin De Semana" (beautiful soundtrack by Anekdoten-frontman)
- Gungfly "Lamentations" (terrific solo-effort by leader of Beardfish)
- Grails "Deep Politics" (very proggy postrock with Mellotron from Portland, USA)
- Zen Rock And Roll "Undone (finally a new album from talented Jonathan Saunders)
- Odin's Court "Human Life In Motion" (solid progressive metal on Progrock Records)
- Greylevel "Hypostatic Union" (great progressive rock with Porcupine Tree-influences)
- 41Point9 "Still Looking For The Answers" (splendid debut featuring two ex-Enchant-members)
- Nine Stones Close "Traces" (a promising new band!

Go for it!

A while you're at the bottom, please think about supporting Progstreaming on a regular basis. Progstreaming is done solely as a hobby, and costs not a lot, but still considerable money. So just a little support will definitely help. If you're extremely wealthy add a zero.

Hi everyone,

Today Progstreaming has these new CDs to offer. Oh, let me rephrase: one of them is ALSO a Double Vinyl:

* Subsignal - Touchstones (CD or Double Vinyl)
* Graal - Legends Never Die
* X-Panda - Flight Of Fancy
* Marco Cottarelli - Una Strana Commedia
* Spettri - Spettri

If you ever feel the need in giving Progstreaming hints, tips, suggestions or other comments, feel free to do so. Especially upcoming releases in December and January that you think we will miss out otherwise, do send it.

If you buy a CD - or in this case even a Vinyl - thanks to Progstreaming, let us know! We will always tell the band and their label, and as we are all not in for the money, we thrive on responses! They make us happy.

Next week it's all about Bandcamp, some amazing stuff there.

^This was my evaluation before I had heard the rest of your recent batch of progstreaming. You are spot on with respect to Charts And Maps - I like it alot (already streamed it several times). And Battle Circus is a real grower too.

All three are on my must-have list.

Autumn Chorus Hug

Terribly misleading that PA tags them as Crossover, definitely post rock, although I hear some resemblance to Moody Blues.

Also terribly misleading the album is currently rated "2".

That's easy, for Charts and Maps is absolutely for free, and Battle Circus is a 'name your price'-digital release, so you can without feeling guilty just a well put in a 0.

I agree, let's do something about that! It gets a 9 though at DPRP. As for postrock and related, check out Charts and Maps (sorry, again), Lüger and especially Sleepmakeswaves. You might also find pleasure Akt, although the artwork I think is hideous. It's again a free download by the way. Lüger a 'name your price'.

Hi all!

Today we have just one CD, but with a reason...

* Silhouette "A-Maze"

For tomorrow, the BIG December 2010-special will start. First CD will be:

* Silhouette "Moods"

Then we will have more than 30 well-known, or unknown, famous or highly underestimated, neglected albums or those that receive a lot of attention. Anyway, plenty of music for you to discover, although they're more than a year old. But who cares? The first time you'll hear it, it's NEW FOR YOU.

To celebrate this enormous special, Progstreaming will be given away a lot of prizes, exclusively for subscribers to this newsletter. So tell all your progfriends!

Now, to make room for all this, the following albums will soon disappear. So listen to some again, and decide whether or not you want to buy a copy for your own:
D'AccorD, I Treni All'Alba, Soniq Circus, Gandalf's Fist, Tune, Senior Citizens, Sounds Of The Outland, Hidden Orchestra, Jonathan Wilson, Kayak.

Ah, there's one who has noticed I've started the long awaited BIG 2010-special. You may ask: "Why?". Well, I wanted to do something special at the end of the year, and a regular 2011-yearlist seemed strange to me, as I am already 24/7 into 2011. Also, because there are SO MANY GREAT MASTERPIECES coming up. 2010 was a good year, a terrific year in fact. Loads of good progrock you do not want to miss out!

Check e.g. Brother Ape, or mentioned Sky Architect. The home-made Root is not bad indeed also!

In a moment I'll upload the amazing debut of Mars Hollow. And 30 more in the next following days. How's that for exaggerated!

Get the newsletter (form on every page), for I'm giving out loads of prizes in a very big competition too.

We have 3 CDs to give away, and two medium-sized t-shirts! Tell Progstreaming what you think of this release.

* PBII - Plastic Soup
We have 3 CDs to give away, thanks to the band itself. Tell Progstreaming why you want to win this CD.

The Progstreaming Facebook has more than 1700 fans. We want this over 2000 before the end of the year! So come on, join, and ask anyone you know who likes progrock to join too! The Facebook often has discussions, previews and even some unique competitions!

Hello!

Hurrying up a bit with the bag of goodies, three more competitions for you!

Listen to the following, and tell me what you think of them. I have t-shirts and/or cd's, some of them modest, some of them extra-ordinary! I don't care if you want to win all three, or just one of them. Show some greed!

* Resistor - Rise
* IZZ - The Darkened Room
* 21 Eyes Of Ruby - Conquer The Word Part 5

Last chance listens: in a few days the following will disappear: Airbag, Eider Stellaire, Humble Grumble, Scherzoo, Electric Orange, Camembert, One Shot, North Sea Radio Orchestra, Dave Willey & Friends and Accordo Dei Contrari. Try some of them again TODAY, and maybe you want to buy some of them for your own. All the artists involved need your support!

Please also support Progstreaming. You'll find a donate-button right on the top of the page. For 2012 I have great plans with the site, but that all costs money. Even a very small donating is really appreciated. If you want to support Progstreaming on a regular basis, I might be able to do something in return. Contact me for this.

For 2012 I already have 25 (!) CDs lining up. All of them good, some of them amazing. Can't wait!

Progstreaming will again in 2012 feature Bandcamp-artists, whether they are for free or not, digital or physical or both. It has to be NEW releases always though, not to mention extremely well performed. If you know any that the Progstreaming audience might like, give us a hint!

For those who have supported Progstreaming through PayPal: a big THANK YOU. I hope your recent discoveries were worth it, and I guarantee 2012 will feature many of your future-favorite bands.

Hello!

About 9 more days for you to listen to the 2010-CDs!

Finally, I've got 3 more give-aways. The goody-bag is getting more emptier every week! Tell me what you think of them and why you want to win them!

* WolfSpring - WolfSpring
* Areknamés - In Case Of Loss...
* Wally - Montpellier

I very much hope you have enjoyed the 2010-special, and have discovered some new bands and artists you wouldn't have otherwise. That's always the main purpose of Progstreaming.

Since the start of Progstreaming July 5th 2011 it has been a hell of a ride. I'd like to thank all the listeners, Facebook-friends, followers on Twitter, bands, artists, labels and friends. Thank you for listening to Progstreaming. Thank you for supporting Progstreaming by donating small or larger sums. Thank you for actually buying or downloading (legally, I hope!) the streams Progstreaming supplies. The band surely needs your support every way possible!

Finally, we'll continue in 2012 with some releases that have been released in the last few month. There will be some minor changes, but as a whole, Progstreaming will offer you more of the same. More new awesome progrock!

Hi!

There's 4 more days to listen to the 2010-special, so hurry if you still want to listen to some of the names you don't know yet! And thanks to the slow postal services we have one more extra competition for you:

* Nordagust "In The Mist of Morning"

Tell Progstreaming what you think of this CD and why you want to win it. We have 3 copies to give away.

Always, tell us what you discover thanks to Progstreaming. Also, if you want to give suggestions on what to stream, give it to us.
