I have that disc.  Got it as a record club freebie (NOBODY GIVE ME GRIEF ABOUT THAT), and it's pretty chucklicious.  Some of the interpretations are rather.... interesting, shall we say.  His version of "Crazy Train" was used as the theme song for The Osbournes.

Definitely wouldn't have paid for it, seeing as how ol' Pat's a bit of a religious nutbag (and more recently a Tea Partier), but it was fun to hear him making fun of himself and his image.

Yeah, I don't count In A Metal Mood as a truely bad album because it was a troll. Boone was not being serious.
As for worst albums of the year, that Neal Morse was pretty hard to sit through.

I wish The Decemberists has a slightly better album.

The King Is Dead is 3*. Wanted a lot more form them.
One of their weakest albums.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

To be honest, I'd rate Pat Boone's In a Metal Mood at least equally with Images and Words or Awake, and defiantly higher than anything else they did. :P

But I really like that sort of thing. Richard Cheese gave me more than a few chuckles.
