The Jays are doing their part to keep the Angels in the playoff race. LOL

This isn't official, but apparently the Blue Jays might be changing logos again.  This one is an obvious nod to their logo pre-1997.  I actually like the uniforms they use now, but I understand the motive behind this change (if it happens), and would withhold judgement until I see a uniform.

The Mets need some serious help. They just rolled over and allowed the Cards back into the race.

Ray's awesome prospect debuting tonight against the Yankees. Through 2 and 2/3 inning he has 7 Ks. Holy shiiiiiit.

I'm waiting for the Mets to call up a high school pitcher to throw a no-hitter against the Phils.

Good thing the Tigers don't have to play the Orioles in the playoffs.  Boy do they struggle with last place teams. Confused

That was an ugly game mismanaged by La Russa.

An odd quandary...I'd rather face the Braves in the playoffs, but I want the Phillies to keep winning to be in playoff form.

So bring on the Cards in the first round.

Agreed. You also have to figure that if the Braves make it, they play the Brewers in the divisional round and lose so we probably don't play them anyway.

Yeah that's true.

Brewers-Diamondbacks should be an interesting little series.

Yeah. I would like to take the DBacks for the upset, but they don't have the pitching to hang. Brewers have a really nice 1-2-3.

Rays, a game back, have to play the Yankees (who will they be resting?), while Boston gets the O's.   While watching the ticker during football, I was actually happy to see the Jays lose and the Yankees win. LOL

It will be interesting to see.  Will the Yankees "throw" the 3 games just to try and get Boston eliminated?  err...I mean to rest guys so they are healthy for the playoffs.  The O's gave the Tigers all they could this weekend; hopefully, they have some more of that for the Red Sox the next 3 days in Baltimore.

The Tigers are 1 game behind Texas for the number 2 spot in the AL; they have the tiebreaker though, so as long as they tie Texas they will get number 2.  The Tigers have 3 games against Cleveland and the Rangers have 3 games with the Angels, so neither series should be easy.

If  you throw games, then lose to the team taht you let into the playoffs. You'll feel absolutely atrocious. If a team legit gets in the playoffs and beats you, you just feel atrocious. If they rest players, they're resting them so that they get the rest.

As of right now a pretty good chance Phillies win, Sox lose, and Rays win. Not a bad day.
