I was just wondering what some of your favourite bands are, that would probably never be considered for Prog Archives. I'm expecting a lot of indie bands here... Any good suggestions?

Mine are Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Ween, The solo Beatles, The Beach Boys, Flaming Lips, Wilco, Neutral Milk Hotel, Idle Race, Pete Townshend, Tenacious D, Traveling Wilburys...
Nothing to say here. Nothing at all. Nothing is easy.

Tears for Fears pops to mind as I'm currently finishing up a marathon of them.

The Boomtown Rats and Bob Geldof are another old favorite. Currently I've been enjoying Joanna Newsom and Jay Munly.

I listen to some electronica and trip hop, depending on the mood I'm in.  Other than that, mostly prog.  Paul Van Dyk and Deadmau5 are some of my favorites...

I love loads of  so-called Post Punk bands just as much as Prog ones (Television, the Cure, Pere Ubu, Monochrome Set, Wall of Voodoo, Josef K, The Fall, The Go-betweens, Echo & the Bunnymen, Siouxsie & the Banshee, Magazine - the list goes on...)

I've always thought A7X was borderline prog metal (really listen to their albums next time if you doubt me).  There's a reason Portnoy played with them on tour...
