Sleepin Pillow

http://promotions.prog-sphere.com/?p=179

Sleepin Pillow are characters with nicknames. Nomik, Rispa, Aisha Sama, Nick Zakqueline, Antoine and Skinman are presented on stage disguised, while their show is  decorated with a light show and visual projection.

Their music exudes mysticism; with influences ranging from Bristol, England and reach the distant India, Sleepin Pillow have managed to evenly entangle sounds of trip hop and psychedelic western with oriental culture and greek tradition. Their music philosophy spans past and present, the  cultural heritage of the East with the capitalist West, and bridges psychedelic 70s indie with the 90’s American dream.

The band, after 3 years of recordings, released their debut album titled Apples on an Orange Tree in collaboration with British producer John Antony (Queen, Ace, Genesis). The album earned a place among the 2008 greek charts and radio stations worldwide have included Apples on an Orange Tree” in their playlists.

In 2010 Sleepin Pillow released their second album Superman’s Blues. In their second album Sleepin Pillow spectacularly expand their horizons and confront the listener with a wealth of artistic inspiration and experimentation.

Sleepin Pillow have made numerous live appearances from 2006 until today in many places in Greece. On 2010 they started their promotion tour for their new album with great success and strong public support.
